Over the last 30 years I have bought that many gadgets and most of them disappoint. I bought one of these and for the first time ever a gadget that has been under sold. This would be the best thing I have ever bought. Frozen steak cooked in around 20 minutes. My sister has since bought one and swears by it.

We got it yesterday. Put a frozen steak in it for 40 minutes (20 minutes on each side). It came out well done and very tender. Tasted like it just came off the grill. We were all surprised and very happy with the product.

Believe it or not, I know who the guy in this infomercial is. Joe Fowler used to host the only season of Maximum Drive on The Family Channel. I got mine today! I just made two pork chops in 10 minutes flat. Quite good! I'm doing frozen chicken wings later tonite and a full chicken tomorrow. One thing the infomercial completely, and systematically avoids mentioning is that you have to TURN the food over halfway through the cooking process. Frozen pizza you start cooking UPSIDE DOWN and turn half way through the process with their "pizza flipper." Chickens, turkey, chops, steaks, etc. you have to turn over halfway through.

It's just a convection oven. You can buy all sorts of brands of convection ovens, and they all pretty much do the same thing -- move hot air around. And if you don't think such a thing can make frozen food taste fresh, think again. Meat on a frozen pizza tastes fresh. A frozen steak is so juicy you have to drain some of the juice away. Anyone who has had a convection oven knows how awesome they are. Don't know about this one or its price, but you can get small ones at stores for like $35.

@eddiefromnyc I just bought the Nuwave oven and own the Ronco rotisserie. Your are right; The Nuwave oven requires you to flip over the chicken while the Ronco does not. Duh? An extra step that Ronco doesn't require. Both units did its job to perfection. But kudos to Nuwave oven for multi tasking.

We all know that no one can get perfectly brown looking bird like displayed on the commercial. It's simply a industry dyeing trick. You think the commercial will waste an hour watching the bird cook? I own a Nuwave oven and it doesn't look the way it looks. But it does its job and taste great! Buy one, you won't be had!
