How to turn off the cab sim? If use as a preamp to fx loop return amp
@appetiteforguitar8 ай бұрын
Click 'Edit', navigate to 'Amp'. It should default to the Amp setting. If it doesn't, press the module buttons left or right to get there. When on 'Amp', press the 'Module' button once right for the cab sims. If you turn the 'Select' knob left, you have the option for 'Direct Out'. If you press the 'Module' button once left and then turn the 'Select' knob left, you can also just switch the 'Amp Off' completely.

hello sir. i want to buy an eight string and an effects pedal. i was hoping i can use this module as an octave so i don't have to physically tune down my guitar. i'd like to go as low as double drop B or A. can you please guide me?
@appetiteforguitar8 ай бұрын
The pedal does have an octave feature, so yes you will be able to extremely low, especially with an 8 string!

Excellent review, just wondering if this unit has a whammy pedal option similar to a digitech-style whammy? Thanks!

Hi..my pedal button's light in not turning, and I can't turn on the wah pedal is, tried to do it using the edit, save, modules and the pedals....but the pedal light never turned on, it's just not turning on, can you help me with this?

It's hard to say for sure without seeing. But a) have you tried switching the input and output cables? b) Power definitely on and connected?

@@appetiteforguitar Hi...of course the power is on, everything else is functioning just fine...i'm talkin about the pedal BUTTON, the small pedal BUTTON that's supposed to light red....it's not turning on at all, whether I press on it, or after I add the wah pedal FUNCTION and save it on the B1...some say that u have to step with ur toe part of the foot on the front part of the pedal, but i checked underneath that expression pedal, and it's all plastic and there's no button underneath it.....

Was just given one of these last night. While I don't think it's going to replace my HeadRush, it doesn't sound too bad. 🙂

The MG-100 is great in its own right and truly excellent for such a cheap pedal... but yes the Headrush pedals are a few levels up in various ways🤘🎸

Hey, just to make totally sure before buying this MG100 . Can it be played with Headphones for silent practice? (Without any amp)
@appetiteforguitar5 ай бұрын
Yes you can plug headphones directly into the output on the unit. For the best experience, the 'Mixer' button needs to be pressed to enter the mixer mode. Hope that helps.

LOL I remember many years ago seeing that mini multieffects on a shop and thinking to myself..looks cute and the little screen looks cool but.this thing cant sound good. I had the Boss GS-10 which is a desktop version of the GT-6....hated its COSM sound. Ended up recently buying the NUX MG-400 which has exactly the same little screen and gui.
@appetiteforguitar Жыл бұрын
I thought the same... the Boss multi-fx stuff was some of the best at the time but just like you, I always felt it sounded really digital and uninspiring. I can't believe how great the little boxes are now. Enjoy the NUX MG 400!

@@appetiteforguitar the thing is that the NUX MG-100 is from 2006 and they still have the same editor gui and the same buttons functionality.

Recently, I got one gifted from one of my buddies, didn't expect much from it and sounded choppy till i realised i had a modeling amp(nux 100) pluged to another modeling (fender mustang ltd25). Long story short, it sounds amazing in headphones 10/10

Can you plug is directly to your phone to record?
@appetiteforguitar21 күн бұрын
You need an audio interface to go between ur phone and the pedal, something like the Joyo Momix Cab.

I don't think so, I believe you would need to get some kind of audio interface for your phone. E.g. Joyo Momix Cab or TC Helicon - I've not tried these yet, but it's on my list to do as it would be very convenient. Good luck and keep rockin'

Does the drums sync to the looper. I mean can you play a loop along with the built in drums?
@appetiteforguitarАй бұрын
Ah, well you need to get your timing spot on to make the drums loop. It takes practice. It doesn't auto sync. When you get the timing it's very satisfying. Initially it is hard, but once you get the feel you should be able to do it as you want in my experience....
