Great video! The feature of moving the effects on your signal chain is really a plus. The desktop interface is also quite helpful. I currently use a Marshall CODE 50 with the Gateway app and it makes setting your tones a breeze. I'll set my basic or clean tone, then run it through my pedalboard. Gives me a lot of diversity. Thanks Rod!

Thanks Chip. A good desktop editor makes deep diving much easier.

I have the mg300 as well as a Hotone Ampero mini, and although the Ampero has loads more amps/cabs and effects, I think I like the mg300 more, solely because of the interface. It's really nice to see the pedals It's emulating, rather than just seeing text.

I agree, the interface is awesome. Moving pedals with a mouse rather than unplugging patch cables and power supplies then ripping up velcro lol.

We just ordered a Hotone mini… it’ll be here tomorrow!

@thepedalpicassos I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Are you making a video?

@chiptriplett655 All multi fx allow you to "move pedals with a mouse (or knob/finger) rather than unplugging patch cables..." I'm talking about the mg300 interface itself. Not all multi fx units have such a user-friendly interface. Few have actual pictures of the pedals you're using.

Yes indeed! I was just referring to a pedalboard with actual stompboxes on it, which is my main rig. I haven't used a multi FX since back in the day with an RP-1 until I grabbed a Matribox thanks to the Picassos!

Hi one question, thanks - which effects can we move around in the signal chain, and can this be done from the hardware?
