Blackstar id core 10 v2 or Nux mighty 20bt? Distortion tones are important for choosing for me. My guitar is schecter banshee 6 sgr by the way, which is better?

Well, a bit late reply but hope it helps. I got nux mighty 20bt along with sgr c1( yeah I'm an absolute beginner that can't get any better at this point :(. Since you mentioned that distortion is important I think nux would be a good choice for rock and metal compared to blackstar. Even with my cheap guitar the thicker strings produce a really good distortion sound without even needing a pedal. I also read that nux is better fit for metal which I kinda agree. Now the things I don't like about the amp is the sound quality of G B E strings. It just sounds 'faded' or 'weakish', I think it's mostly because of my cheap guitar but you can also notice what I mean during this video. One of the biggest disappointment was that you can use the USB port for only firmware uptade and can't do anything else like using amp simulations or recording. I didn't know that while getting the amp and this alone would be only thing enough to get the blackstar id core 10. So that I could use amp simulations with its internal soundcard for better tones and more exploring. Let me know which amp you got and if your guitar sounds good with it :)

As a musician you should know that recording a video about a music tool using a built-in mic from camera is a pretty big fail.
