Yup. I have tourettes (I take meds for it as it helps reduce tiks so I'm not in constant pain-something many don't seem to know is constant twitching of certain muscles can be very painful) and it's insane to me that anyone would not only WANT tourettes, but use it for money. I've never gained anything from having it except muscle pain, meds, and difficulty driving when I dont take meds. The fact people go out of their way to fake it is bonkers to me. Im sitting here praying to God my daughters don't end up with it while they cash in large checks just for forcefully twitching. Although, my brother always knew how to make me laugh despite growing up with it. He used to say that I would twitch so hard one day, that I'd look like a glitchy video game, with one half of my body 24ft away spazing out while the other half just stood there 😂 it's how I ended up with the nickname "glitch" growing up lol

Im 40, and I was in 6th-7th grade when South Park started. Man we were running around the playground singing Kyle's Moms A Bitch among other comments. Man, oh man, did I have to put people in their place when Starvin Marvin came out, hahaha. I've seen every episode of the show. Lore dives like this are a great walk down memory lane. Nux, I encourage you to watch Orgazmo and BASEketball. Those are the 2 live action movies from the creators of South Park. They also act in them as well. Those came out 1997/1998. 7th and 8th grade were something else hahaha.

The OG South Park Movie ("South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut") was my first R rated movie, (and probably my first movie in theaters,) but I was less than 1 year old (either 1999 or 2000) and my parents (who obviously didn't want to hire a babysitter,) said they would have left during or before the "Uncle F*cker" song if I hadn't been asleep. 24 years later and I've seen almost every South Park episode/special/movie. I definitely recommend the movies/specials (the show is good too, but it has a lot of episodes)

As someone who actually has Tourettes, I enjoy the South Park episode because they literally predicted that people would fake it. Not just fake it, but one of the rarest forms to possibly develop as well. What makes the episode better is how Eric technically gets karma in the end because he was faking it for so long he can't stop. He tricked his body into thinking he actually has Tourettes. While obviously that cannot happen in real life to those who fake Tourettes due to it being a problem with the transmitter signals within our brain, I hope they do know that karma always finds a way to bite you back when you least expect it to.
