My free pre-watch prediction: There's an inherent issue in that due to the huge gap between the kind of people watching commentary videos vs mr beast, the immediate impact will be negligible. However, we're coming to the point soon, if not already there, where the target audience of commentary videos becomes the parents of mr beast's target audience. Because of this, I'm expecting mr beast's decline to be a much slower burn than I think most people are expecting it to be. If there's one takeaway from the sheer number of controversies surrounding successful KZbin channels making content for kids, it's that parents should be aware, now more than ever, of what their kids are watching online because some of those kids can, and are, being taken advantage of.
