I’ve been watching South Park since the first episode aired in 99. I think this may be my favorite one. Not only are the jokes great, but after everything that little sh*t bag has done… I remember seeing it for the first time. I literally jumped out of my seat and yelled “yeeeeaaaa!”

That episode is also part of a larger trend of Cartman being very fragile (both physically and in terms of his inflated ego). Every time any of the kids gets angry enough to actually inflict physical harm to Cartman, he winds up crying in pain and failing to fight back. Cartman is routinely powerless in direct 1-on-1 combat, and instead pursues a majority of attacks using pyschological warfare or manipulation of others.

@emeraldfinder5 I was referring to the Post Covid and Return of Covid specials, where Cartman grew up to be a good person with a happy jewish family because he was allowed to spend time away from South Park and all of its chaos Due to time travel shenanigans, he was forced to sacrifice his own happy life and his family in order to ensure that his friends didn't split up as kids, allowing them all to have better lives as adults But because Cartman was exposed to South Park his whole life, he was a homeless drunk constantly shouting slurs at everybody as an adult You never expected to honestly feel bad for Cartman, but that ending was a gut punch

You know, this isn't that way people should be handling bullying. I'm not defending Cartman, but you can't just go beating people who make you angry. Other kids picked on me all the time, and I had to learn that the hard way when I was a kid. You really have to just ignore them as long as they aren't physically hurting you. It's one of those things that just goes away if you look away most of the time. It was tough, but I think it made me a significantly more mentally resilient person and much less prone to violence as an adult.

Random fact about Wendy: Stan had a crush on her since the pilot, and he had it BAD. Eventually it becomes mutual.... To the point that Wendy literally threatens a substitute teacher when she notices the boys (including Stan) finding said teacher attractive. And then Wendy later followed up on said threat by making soldiers from an enemy country falsify records and evidence that said teacher was a spy/sleeper agent working for them, resulting in said teacher getting deported, and from there things only get worse for the poor woman. Moral of the story: don't fuck with Wendy Testaburger, as the girl herself put it.
