The guys Matt and Trey know how to tell jokes, and be serious with a light touch. Them getting Larry Elder to be their presenter for the Freedom Award they received was a great one. Everyone thought it was to rag on the bloke, considering how they have parodied him in earlier episodes. But it showed Larry Elder could take a joke, and other parts left the audience mad, a small number were speechless yet thoughtful where others raving and loud... while even more didn't care and didn't get mad.
