The best use I've found for the Infrared Sensors is when stopping a hunt with a crucifix while only using one crucifix or in a larger room. Spreading them around the ghost room helps keep a tab on where the ghost is so I have a general idea of where to keep the crucifix majority of the time while I'm in the room :)

If there is a teddy in the ghost room and you hear it giggling, you can quickly take a photo for interaction as far as i know. At first I thought giggling is random, but i realized it was the teddy's not long ago.

One creative usage for infrared sensors I saw was to detect a revenant during a hunt on an asylum or highschool - line up couple senors on the way out of the ghost area and look from afar, in a hallway how fast the lights light up compared to how much time player needs to light up the sensors themselves.

In a large room where we could not get the last bit of evidence, I put out infrared sensors to see where the ghost was moving, ran over to it, put out a book and asked a spirit box question. Finally got an answer by doing this. Which is good, cause I was about to just guess EMF 5...

I've noticed that you get giggles, if there is a stuffed bear in the ghost room. As those are only in the farm and town houses, you don't get giggles on the other maps.

The IR sensors are great in darker rooms or when you're try to use the spirit box. Also saw others talking about using them for good crucifix placement, hadn't thought of that. Beings you're in the dark your sanity is draining so a hunt is getting closer every second. Good to know which side of the room the ghost is on when your torch starts flickering.

Love your page man. Just wanted to say i played with my friends today and the host started a intermidiate farmhouse the ghost room was on third floor which is big and after trying to get eviedence for at least an hour we just got sprit box we were out of pills and smudge stick and then suddenly we found out all of the hallway in second floor is cold too! So after two death and zero sanity we moved everything to second floor we played that game for straight up 2 and a half hours we just didnt want to give up until we found out its an oni man that game hyped me up so much :D

This is one of my favorite videos so far! Sadly, I couldn't hear the giggling, but I honestly loved seeing something rattle you - not in a cruel way, but in a way that made me feel less bad when something really rattles me in Phasmo! (Cool, cool, cool... ) :) I immediately grabbed my laptop and tried to play Grafton (on Beta, always beta) but I haven't been offered a Grafton for a few days! Weird. I don't get giggling often at all. This past week, I had a singer or two, and maaaaybe a giggler, but usually I just hear good ol' fashion croaking and heartbeats. :) Going to go play Phasmo to see if I can't get a Grafton quest now!

I use the infrared to triangulate the ghost's movement. I tend to bring 2 of each sensor to really let me fully track the movement of the ghost. If done right it allows me stronger readings. The light sensors also help if the ghost is in a room with a front facing window as it allows you to see the movement from the truck in some situations. I mainly use the soundsensor to track activity. It's helps a lot for my group for determining type of activity if we aren't getting a third, or even second clue and has acted as an early warning at times for more aggressive ghosts on when things are going to jump if someone is in the truck.

Me and my friend use the infrareds to track the ghosts location when we are not in the van because they are more obvious. Generally we only use sensors to find where the ghost wanders.

My team always uses the 4 infrared cameras to create a "photo trap" during a hunt. Placing them staggered on staircases or on all 4 walls in the bathrooms... etc.

The best use me and my group have had for the infrared sensors is using it to Smudge the ghost if it's a corridor ghost or a massive room ghost. Sometimes the objective hasn't been crossed out if we smudge the general area, so if we have some infrared on hand, we set them up and sit near one with a smudge stick ready. Once we see it light up, we charge it with the smudge stick. 99 times out of 100, it's guarenteed us getting the smudge objective. Whilst this can be done with regular motion sensors, we've found it more reliable with the infrared ones. Other than that, we've used them if one of us has died. If we think the dead person has info on evidence or something of the like, we set up an infrared somewhere away from the ghost and ask the dead person a Yes or No question.

Infrared Sensors are good for highlighting and pin pointing the ghosts walking path. Motion Sensors work also but the Infrared gives a better visual representation inside the house where as the Motion Sensors are better watched from the map in the van.

Was doing a professional Prison with a friend. We went around the whole map without finding the ghost room. As we went out to the main lobby, we noticed doors we had closed were now open. We went out and I threw my EMF and book just outsidd the front door. We went in the truck to look for orbs and I tought I heard a beep. I peeked out the truck and saw a red dot. I got there in time to see the EMF going off at 5 and it had written in the book, outside.

I know I'm late but one time on edgefield the ghost was a bathroom ghost at the upstairs, and my friend pickedup both a teddy bear and a bunny and placed them in the ghost room. After several minutes both the teddy bear and the bunny disappeared and earlier before that he and I heard giggles in the bathroom. So I'll admit it I kinda piss myself a bit since I've never heard it till today, oh and on another note the toys yeah we couldn't find them but we did find the bunny in the ground floor livingroom but than disappeared again and couldn't find it so yeah...

Uv sensor lights lined up in a way down a hallway is perfect to see if a ghost is a revenant. :) The quicker they light up one after the other the faster the ghost.

SOMETIMES if I'm trying to get a ghost photo, I'll spread the Infrareds around the room. That way I have at least some vague idea of where the ghost is. So WHEN it appears I might be able to snap it if it decides to appear for just a millisecond.

I'm pretty sure the giggles are associated with the teddy bears. I was playing on Grafton once and I found the ghost on the left side bottom floor near the bathroom and as I was walking into the hallway, I heard a giggle in the bathroom connected to it. I found a teddy bear just sitting on the floor. I also was in Tanglewood and heard the giggle from a teddy bear in the first room when you come in.

The ghost was in the bathroom. She can trown stuff from the library through the wall of it. Thats why 1 or 2 cruxifix must be there. Thats why also the fingerprints where on that door. The fingerprints are tricky because they only will be on 1 side of the door. Also the not wandering ghost like a revenant only can turn on water if they are in the same room.

I managed to convince my group to test the giggler on Saturday. We gathered all of the teddies into the nursery (which was the ghost room) and only got one giggle. Only time the teddies moved from their photo-op session was when one of the VR guys died and decided to play with them. So I'm not sure either way myself, I was the only one that heard the giggle so they thought I was hearing things.

I honestly think the farmhouses are less scary than the 3 "normal" houses. Because the farmhouses are inherently spooky, but the suburb houses look like regular houses where people do normal stuff and live, yet there's something lurking there.

You can make the ghost giggle more often, if you keep playing hide and seek with the teddy bears, he hides. if you bring them back, he sometimes giggles ;D Making vids for the German audience and tested this.
