Great Review. I appreciate the way you demonstrated how the noise cancellation works.

Thanks for your video. I'm using them as every day earphones now for 5 weeks, and I'm very satisfied. Also microphone quality is very good if I trust the comments of my counterpart on the phone. I use it daily for business calls in the office and I always get positive feedback about the voice quality. Price here in Germany is absolutely low. I bought it at Amazon for only 24 Euro. The price policy with original price and discount coupons changes constantly, almost daily. The final price is usually between 24 and 35 euros. For the price the headphones are definitely a great deal. I have also not yet had any problems with charging in the case. I love them.

My pair came in a little sleeve around the case when unboxing. Yours didn’t seem to have that? Did you somehow get a refurbished pair? My pair have been great! I love the look compared to the apple Earbuds. Sound is ok for the size (they can go 1-2 notches above what’s comfortable, which I like.) comfort is good and if you put them in upside down they almost disappear (though voice mic will probably suffer.) I will say the touch controls seem almost useless. 1 tap is pause which is fine but double tap is for volume and 90% of the time it just pauses instead, the times it does raise the volume it only raises to about 75% and then starts the pause dance. Not sure if this is a safety feature or what but temper your expectations about the touch controls. FYI I got mine on Amazon for $30 (1/2 off).

I'm glad you're happy with yours. And no, mine were not refurbished. I actually spoke with the seller on Amazon. I returned mine and received a new pair from them. It too was packaged the same and unfortunately also had the charging issue 😕 Cheers!

Thanks for your video. I noticed you did a review for the monster clarity 102 plus as well. If you had to chose one pair out of the 2, which one would you pick?

Apologies for the late response. Easily the Clarity 102 Plus is my choice. The 102 Plus is what I use everyday. Sound quality is great, and the physical buttons are helpful when I have them under my toque. Also I noticed the N-Lite Clear Talk wasn't charging properly soon after I posted this review. A few viewers also brought this to my attention so it's a prevalent issue. I've had no such issue with the 102 Plus. I hope that's a satisfactory answer. Cheers!

No plastic film in earbuds and scratches on case. It’s a return. Mine had a plastic film. I had to take it off so it would pair.

My friend and I all bought the monster n-lite earbuds when on sale on Amazon May 2022. Several of us noticed that the left earbud is not charging in the case. In fact it drains in the case. The only way to charge it is with the cable plugged into the case before you use it. The charging prongs are clean

Hello, and apologies for the late response. From the comments and questions I've read here and in other reviews, there is definitely an issue with the charging case. Not all units are affected as many have not experienced any issues. But if you have, I strongly suggest returning these if at all possible. I didn't know until another viewer mentioned it. So I unpacked this and noticed the mine had the same issue. Re-seating the buds helped fix mine, but any slight movement would unseat them. I do not recommend these at all. I think I'll do a short vid about it and link it in this review. Anyhow, I hope you're able to return or replace these. Consumer Protection laws and retailer policies are different everywhere, so find out what can be done. As this would be considered a defect, it's also covered under Monster's warranty. If the retailer won't refund your money, it's possible Monster may do so or send you an equivalent product as a replacement. You do have options. Cheers! And good luck!

Did you find issues with charging? I would charge my all night and it still says battery low.😔

Apologies for the late response. I was actually in surgery this past weekend so I was a little preoccupied lol! As to your question, funny enough I did have issues with charging while in recovery. I killed my pair watching movies so I plugged them into my laptop to charge. I later knocked the case off the side of my table accidentally but the charging cable thankfully saved it from smashing to the floor. Didn't think anything of it since I could see the charging light was still blinking and left it hanging. It wasn't until I popped them back on and saw my right earbud was only at 10% while my left was fully charged. Since I had the time I did some experimenting, like shaking the case, leaving the case facing up, and facing down, etc.. and I figured it's the charging contacts not actually in alignment and touching the charging points inside the case. The magnets don't hold the earbuds well enough that a sharp bump can shift the buds and lose contact. Now reseating the buds will fix this of course, but I do believe this will be a constant inconvenience. I've decided to put tiny rubber bumpers in each of the hollows in the case lid so when closed they will press down on the buds and secure that contact. This experience has changed my opinion of the N-Lite Clear Talk unfortunately. I was willing to forgive the poor microphones because of the much improved sound quality (as compared to the N-Lite 200), but this additional problem, even if easily fixed, is not something I would want anyone to have to deal with. If you can return it then do so. If not, then I suggest doing what I did. Or even a simple fold of paper will do the trick. Cheers!

Did the noise cancelling is working when you listening music ?
@novumverum
@novumverum 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately the N-Lite Clear Talk does not have active noise cancelling. The earbuds and tips do a decent job in passively dampening ambient sound overall, but nothing close to what ANC can do. On another note, I just cracked open a set of ANC earbuds so I should have that review posted in a couple of weeks. Cheers!

Among these monster earbuds, how will you rate them from best quality to lowest; Champion, V1, N lite clear talk? My champion's edge that are in contact with the wing chips got chipped off (think the rubber "cut" into them over them, tearing them off. Now the wing tips are not very secure.)

Sorry to hear your Champions got damaged. The N-Lite Clear Talk was my daily driver -- for about 2 weeks 😑 Then I started noticing charging issues. So I went back to the Clarity 102 Plus. To date, the Clarity 102 Plus and Clarity 101 Plus are the best Monster earbuds when it comes to balanced performance. Between the two, I prefer the 102 Plus simply because I like the fit. The downside is that it has physical buttons, whereas the 101 Plus has touch sensors. That said, there's a new Monster model that I just got and will be testing in the next few weeks. We'll see how that stacks up, so stay tuned. But for now, you can't go wrong with either Plus models. The fit, style and controls are the only factors you really have to consider. And I consistently see them go on sale for CAD$60 or less. Hope that helps. Cheers!
