I definitely would like to see the process. I had tinkered with the idea of converting one of my k98s , deactivated, into a sniper. The one I thought of working on has a yugo m48 bolt, is a Russian capture, got that black sort of shellac on the metal work and the butt isn't in great shape, it's a real mixed bag if parts. It was my first deac and I bought it in excitement and haste....a lesson learned. Anyway when I saw that you had to drill the receiver I thought better of it. Even though I'm an engineering tradesman I don't have access to a pillar drill or proper workshop facilities to do a good job, I know I'd end up buggering it up, so I will leave it as is. But anything that's to do with denix , I'm all over it...the more you 'work over' a denix the better they look. I'm particularly pleased with my denix PPSH41, real ww2 sling and period drum mag which fits.....stripped back and re stained woodwork....well I like it, cheers Nick😊😊😊

Thanks Stan much appreciated. The joy of this kit is (whisper it) you could glue the mount to the receiver. However the stock will need modifying to clear it.

A lot of your videos are of no use to me BUT I enjoy watching them all and seeing you problem solving. Just make it and if it only helps 1 person its been a good deed.

now that’s an interesting mount .god knows how they managed to hit anything at distance with those old scopes and mounts 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i would image one shot then you need to re zero . but i guess they were not aiming at a 10 mm circle at 50//100 yards

Crazy isn't it. But as you say, a torso (or head) is a bigger target than us target shooters aim at and kick ourselves if we can't get sub 0.5 MOA all day long.

Any chance to buy side mount separate from scope? I cant find anything
@nickvending96888 ай бұрын
I haven't seen just the mount for sale, but they are in separate boxes so you never know your luck. Best bet would be to give your local S&T stockist a call and ask them.

Mf didn’t even review the scope

MF was taught that if they didn't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. I do describe the scope. I'm pretty sure that I say it, but I'll spell it out for you. It's rubbish.

Scratch that, sorry for using Mf, I’m just saying, you reviewed the mount more than the scope

"Instruction... in Chinese" how can you be so ignorant, you can obviously see its NOT Chinese as it got houses etc symbols, where as Japanese as mostly simple lines or letter shapes. OK you might of not know that, but seeing someone saying it like that triggers sometbing in my brain

Btw, Japan is high quality country, that's where your ps5 is from, your favorite Dark souls, your good solid car Toyota or Nissan.

Hello, thank you for your comment. My apologies to have offended you. I would like to point out that it is a first impressions video, my first impression upon opening the instructions that they weren't in English but thankfully the English was on the other side. OK, presumably I should have done an Oxford degree in far eastern languages to then know exactly what language it was before then doing my first impressions video, but then it wouldn't exactly be first impressions. I assume you have an issue with the Chinese, hence your comment and your follow-up comment? I don't hold any prejudice against Chinese products, some are great, some are terrible, much like products made anywhere else. But hey, almost everything is made in China. The scope in the video is pretty lousy, if it was made in Japan then frankly I'm disappointed.

I don't have a PS5, I'm too busy working to play games. Dark Souls - no idea what that is. I drive a Suzuki, my wife has a Subaru.

@@nickvending9688 if the scope quality is like you say, then Japanese people did horrible job, but at the same time there are people who say this scope is great, firm and clear. I just wonder if you can take it to airsoft and run in woods, crawling, going to prone, squatting etc. About China, I don't care, I don't like China but love Japan, after doing like 5% of research I found Japanese sounds cool like any EU language, that they are white like us, their eyes are more open for Asian (big eyes, unlike most Asians Small). So clearly Japan is not on the same level as China or Korea,Taiwan etc.
