Thank you for sharing your journey. My husband and I are waiting for our spousal interview. The interview will take place in Lagos. My husband is in Abuja and i'm a US Citizen. We were DQd November 17, 2023. This wait as you have said has been awful. Our attorney told us our case can't be moved unless my husband is a resident or has lived in the district of the embassy. I am hearing people's cases moved from Lagos a lot. How were you able to have your case moved? Were you a resident of the embassy?

We submitted i130 June 1, 2023 and approved July 8, 2024. Just submitted all documentation for NVC this week. Now we wait again 😩. I hope not much longer. I’m anxious for the interview date now lol. I understand you so well in this journey! It is NOT for the weak and have to be committed to stick it out when you begin it. lol😂. When I went for F-1 Visa interview in Lagos about … decades ago, the night before the interview my friend and I No-Gree sleep because pesin no want to overslept. All went well for my Visa. Back then No Biometric, No Visa fee and No appointment needed, $1 = 6 Naira and round trip ticket was 3,000 Naira (three thousand). Simply show up at the embassy super early because they stop 🛑 collecting passports around 10:00 am @ the gate. Wishing you all the best you will succeed. Abdul - FLorida!

I stumbled on your channel few days ago because i was trying to get answers on how long it takes to get scheduled for an interview from nvc. I was DQ in July, which is last month, now I’m waiting for my interview here in Lagos, I’m just hoping i get scheduled for this interview this year because this distance is really dealing with me 😢 Please i know you mentioned it took 5 months for you to get a visa interview appointment date but is it because you moved your case to another country? Or does interview scheduling take that long? I don’t know if i still have another 5 months in me waiting 😢 Been married for 2 years now and it hasn’t been easy 😢

@@Striggles is he originally from London? And yes you go to the police department in your country and ask for a police character certificate and they’ll process one for you. It comes at a fee, depending on your country though.
