$800 is probably not crazy nor ridiculous. I remember my college buddy doing a presentation on Nvidia back in 2003 when we were in college. I did mine on Olympus camera manufacturer. Back then, Nvidia was less than $3 per share (0.30 cents in todays' post split price). Nvidia looks to have even greater outlook now than they had in 2003, and so I feel Nvidia's growth is still in its 1st, 2nd, or 3rd inning out of 9. I see Nvidia being the dominator for the next 20 years like Intel was the past 30+ years. I don't see some competition just taking over just like that in this industry.

@@kimb6508 expect it is all about future earnings, based on the experience of similar technologies of the past…. Then add what else can NVDA come up with…. Technology evolutions… smaller scale transistors in the angstrom level… Grow the other businesses that they have created already… Don’t fall for that trees don’t grow to the sky line… Some trees grow some really big branches… other trees grow into an entire forest…. The biggest companies used to be Philip Morris and Exxon… growing, finding and refining raw materials before selling… for pennies on the pound… Today one NVDA chip is made out of silicon (refined sand, dirt cheap), selling for near $50k per ounce… and they sell three chips at a time… a Grace and two Hoppers Amazing! 😃

They are turning sand, dug out of the ground, into something worth more than gold… The only thing they do to add value, is design the layout of the transistors that get printed onto that sand wafer… (not even design the transistors themselves) and support it with a bunch of software packages… NVDA has figured out a way to turn sand into gold, while the world lines up to buy more… and has a natural moat all around it. They are ahead of the competition, and move faster than they can catch up… (great management team) Go figure… Why does the world want accelerated computing? Why use a computer at all? Why are all of our cars so full of electronics today? Sensors, computers, electric motors, all stuff that works magically… Why do our cars have back up video, many have several cameras… and a braking system that saves it all when the driver is too slow to react. Cyclical stock? It has two cycles… grow fast, and grow faster… It has outlived slowness in the computer business, it has survived the variations in the crypto mining business… Get off the NVDA train before crashes… measured by the lack of interest in internet companies… Do you remember how boring Facebook is, kids will never use it, it is run by the guy known as the toddler CEO… google wastes all their money on self driving cars and KZbin videos… those will never catch on or get paid for… (things that sounded silly at first) Remember writing the same thing about the first trillion dollar company… Once you buy an iPhone…. Why would you buy a second? Where does all that money from the AppStore come from? Writers on Facebook don’t even get paid… they are the users. Stuff advertised for sale… more users. Turning sand into gold in chunks of 10billion dollars… The only thing holding them back… production rate of chips coming out of their favorite supplier takes a month to ram up… and they will have to perform this same type of ramp up next year when Maxwell is the old chip and Grace is coming on line… It is tough to pair up with people that do this stuff for a living… they know the future of technology, and make money for share holders at the same time… 😃

I have been in Nvidia since 2011. Initial buy in price split adjusted $.60. I have 60,000 shares. $800 would make me $48,000,000. I would be happy with $200 in early 2025 and $12,000,000.😁👍😁👍

imagine if someone created a product that cut the cost and improved the customer experience and overall operational efficiency by being able to take over and do their customers serive instead of miserable call centers. That hypothetical product would change an entire industry upside down. it would be worth an incredible amount of value. Nvidia *IS* that product essentially and can change not just customer service but literally everything and how we live life. The situation as far as a product/service and a company … there has never been anything ever as good as Nvdia right now.

hey brian, good to see your comments. if things pan out as things look i wouldn’t be surprised if we see $20T by 2030. it is still five years away, we will be in a new world by then. revenues could be into the trillions by then once they get into the government spending and military, etc. and i am saying this objectively, not as my usually nvidia stan lenses. blackwell in 2025 earnings will give us a good idea of where things stand.

@@mcbeavis6380 I’ve been a slamming the table on NVDA since 2018. I literally “bet” my entire future on NVDA years ago, and I won already. I have lived through several 50% + draw downs with NVDA. I still believe it to be the best place (and once in a generation opportunity still) to our my money. It is fairly priced at the current multiple. I diversified a little in August 2024 because I see some other slam dunk opportunities at the moment. So my NVDA position went from 100% to 80% (still 7 figure position value and will continue to grow). Am I willing to “bet” on Nvidia’s future? F*** Yes.

There's not enough electric power in the US to run all the Nvidia chips that are forecast by extreme bulls (they use a lot). However, there will still be a lot of Nvidia chips bought by the hyperscalers, and they have the money to locate or build generation plants to run their own data centers. If the govt or military get on board in a big way, they will make electricity happen, but they have almost no experience or knowledge to run their own data centers, so they'll probably farm it out, but since they are so paranoid about security, it's a question mark. Certainly, the other smaller corporations won't be able to run their own data centers, they will use the hyperscaler infrastructure.
