I guess it is unavoidable as companies want to reduce their cost so machines will be the solution. The good thing is that this is deflationary so things will be cheaper but the unfortunate side effect is the jobs lost in the process. The rich get richer while the poor like us gets poorer

That is the way I recall it. I experimented and by 2007 had extremely brilliant chatbots running.

Protein folding prediction will greatly accelerate Gene Editing technologies (such as CRISPR) to have 99.99% accuracy, thus finally conquering our genome from all diseases, including aging. I rather have this automation so I can actually pursue what I really want to do with my life and focus on the things that matter TO ME as a human. Having support from an A.I that actually shares useful information and skips 80% of useless ego data. Seems much more beneficial than wasting hundreds of hours trying to get appropiate information and getting frustrated down the line with burnout.

probably quantum computing whenever it becomes more feasible and optimized. Right now it's done with qubits in subzero cooling but it could possibly be done with light and fiber optics in the future. It'll just take a long time to figure out or be impossible. one or the other. Quantum computing would be good for optimizing things and calculating stuff that used to be impossible.

Also light and fiber optics and quantum computing are 2 different concepts completely. Light and optics fiber computers are called optical computer and are basically an upgrade to our current computers by using light as transistor instead of usual switches. This ends up being much quicker to flip switches. Quantum computers however use superposition of an atom with a lot of specific quantum mechanics as to achieve imprecise calculations on big amounts of data.

maybe AI age? I think the start of it could be late 2017 when Alphazero proved the power of neural networks which is what all these new technologies are based on. And then the second more known start would be 2022 when AI art and AI chatbots came out and were actually good. Just realize that when he says "corporations are developing AI strategies" he means that corprorations are trying to figure out how to replace as many of you as possible. Just think of what Microsoft shows then think of how many people's job is mostly doing things in Office products.
