NVIDIA’s Impressive Earnings: Stock Dips, What’s Ahead?

initial reaction/insane market manipulation aside, NVDA tends to perform best in the month following a good earnings report, as everyone goes through the actual data and realizes this is an incredibly strong company with a ton of earnings potential yet ahead. Technically, I think it would be great for the stock to stage a comeback in normal trading hours tomorrow, as it will reduce the chance for the stock to go sideways for a bit, and could potentially squeeze out some historic levels of shorts on the stock right now, particularly if it can break through $130. But regardless of what happens between Thursday and Friday, I think we will look back on this moment in a month or so and see it as momentary market delusion thinking this company was in any way in a compromised spot and not absolutely raking in profits and selling every bit of what they produce. The fundamentals are still incredible and real investors will quickly see this as a golden buying opportunity.

Problem is that NVDA is addicted to the datacenter, their mobile offerings are terrible. Inference needs to happen at the edge (mobile) and training will not have the same amount of demand as time goes on. NVDA is a major bet on aggregation of resources (compute) but this is cyclical as we have seen dozens of major shifts in this industry. Remember when Citrix aggregated desktops with VDI and then it imploded because VDI has a problem with latency? AI Inference in the datacenter has the same problem with latency. AAPL and Samsung are the best buys for AI now that we are transitioning from training to inference. There was nothing wrong with the earnings. People just want it to be Q3 or Q4 already so that Blackwell revenue can start showing up. So the main problem is that it's still only Q2 and Nvidia failed to invent a time machine.

I think nothing changed. They posted a great great quarter and great growth numbers. The expectations that the earnings will grow at an unbelievable rate were just wrong and Nonsense! The earnigns which they posted were realistic, and sustainable. I like it better than always having to worry about the results in the up-coming quarters. Only blackwell will comes 3 months later; so what? I am fine with it. It is a longterm investment anyway. Wait 2 years, and watch your money gets 4 fold, Simple! It is not a rocket-science! (speaking of rockets, I think ELON MUSK is going to use the chips for upcoming Rocket project in Space-X). Some Blackwell revenue got pushed into Q4. Otherwise Q3 revenues would have been a few billion higher resulting in a much higher beat. All the gloom talk is non sense and the big boys scaring retail.
