Nvme RAID setup guide (gigabyte motherboard)

How to setup nvme raid (raid 0 , 1 , 10) in gigabyte motherboard.

I've been installing RAID0 ever since you could, it is absolute baller! anyone says other wise doesn't know what they are doing and should stop building computers. Same deal with Crossfire. If you are in the know, multi gpu computers will stop being a thing, unless you are a gaming youtuber, who listens to bullshit tech channels.

For the first time I have configured my two nvme ssds in raid and am booting from it, and all other sata drives show up but none of them are even given as an option to boot from...on an x299 ud4 with an i9 7900x...feel like ive tried every combo of settings

Your system will boot from the other drive. Notifications, idk, maybe on the os you could make something notifies you in that case

Just rebuild your raid0 don't delete anything just turn back on raid and select the drives again. Save and boom all will be back to normal.

@@davonstubblefield5822 you must have forgot to reselct the drives after turning back on raid. You have save then go back in and add them again just like when you first built the raid. Just don't delete the raid partitions. If you did then time to reinstall everything. Hopefully you made a iso image on a back up drive.

happened to me on a raid array before and I just re-enabled raid mode and it recognised everything again and booted fine.
