As per information provided and as per NVs advertising 2022, it seems you are nit eligible as you dont have physics in all three years

I have done graduation in political science (H) from deshbandhu college Delhi University, I have studied political science in all six semesters but have studied eco in 1 semester as optional and history in 3 semesters as optional. According to the KVS tgt norms one should have studied 2 subjects for atleast 4 semesters but I have studied history for only 3 semesters. How can I correct this and be eligible for tgt vacancy? One of my teacher has suggested me to do 2 year graduation again in history subject special from IGNOU as it will make me eligible as history will be there for 4 Semesters then. Is it the right thing to do?

Economics Honours is not eligible ror tgt sst post as per of now. Kindly check out advertisement for more clarification

Let me correct you sir that your assumption about combination in honours degree is incorrect. If doesn't matter the number of papers studied will signify full year for elective subject in honours. The paper studied should be of 100 marks. This is the case for eg in Delhi University honours. "candidate should have studied the subject concerned as mentioned in the RRs in all parts/years in which the subject was taught during the Graduation course"

If it is Honours then by default that subject will be considered either it is in all year or not. Main point is in case of honours what criteria to be ensured for other subjects. Dont worry about honours subject. Ensure presence of other subject/s as per requiremnet

​@@mentors36 I want to tell you that the other subject in honours are elective. For elective there is no such condition of full two year as it is in case of core or main subjects as practiced in normal BA or BSc. For eg. My friend was eligible for TGT Science in NVS and interviewed she had botany hons from DU and 2-2 papers of chemistry and zoology in whole 3 years. But was not considered in KVS.

For normal bsc or ba the three subjects are core or main subjects. Thereby subject combination is followed strictly. For electives as in case of honours course, the university concerned has some autonomy for combination.
