I have this is my 2022 Kia k5 and it sounds great! Added a lot of bass and body to my factory system! I was able to get the sub and wiring kit for 220$

I understand the engineering for devices like this are specifically to save space, so that's not much in the way of an enclosure. Firing into the spare tire cut out in the floor does allow the woofer to load quite nicely, however the decibel level is extremely low because it's generally covered buy a panel and some layers a thick carpeting. In the infiniti, I could clearly feel the subwoofer way more than I could hear it. Now that's an suv, I would imagine the problem is 10 times worse in a sedan where the subwoofer is mounted inside the spare tire firing down at the floor of the trunk covered by a panel some carpet and a very thick back seat cushion before those sound waves even make it into the passenger compartment. To any potential buyers of this device, you should understand my opinion is biased. I am a bass head, and I want large high-powered component subwoofers firing directly into the passenger compartment from a ported enclosure tuned to about 33 hz. I'm sure most people don't want to sacrifice their vehicles entire cargo capacity to generate quite inconsiderate levels of bass. With all of that having been said, I am a loyal and continuously returning customer of nvx. I am loyal and continuously returning because I have never had any complaints about any nvx product I have ever purchased. So if you are the kind of person who wants to have Fuller sound in your car, but don't want to sacrifice a single square millimeter of cargo space, then this product is for you. After installation, this product will be 100% completely invisible to you and anybody who goes in your vehicle. Just be aware that in the event you get a flat tire, you will need to handle the subwoofer in order to retrieve your spare tire. If you have it professionally installed, make sure the installer makes it easy for the end user to remove the sub without damage or risk of Crossing wires so that the end user can gain access to the spare tire. Also, the end user should understand that once the spare is removed from the well, the subwoofer will need to be secured back in the well directly to the floor of the well, because a flat full size tire will not fit in the small diameter spare tire well. I'll probably never get to try one myself, but I predict this is a top-notch product due to my experience with other nvx products
