I'm not sure I'll be playing a mage style in this game, but I really like this presentation style and would be very interested in seeing further builds as things go forward after the launch...great video!

Good cover! Several notes though - I played beta and light and melee attacks of all magic weapons are now free (no mana cost), so mana management is not as much of an issue as you think. Second - mana potion can be used to restore health with an earring perk, so even using mana potions can be beneficial for surviving. As crit is nerfed in PVP (equip load reduction + 150 Con bonus), playing a non-crit perk with mana potions can be viable too.

Small correction: Health is not getting changed, they just changed the description in a super confusing way for some reason

do you still believe this is strongest season 6 solo mage? I'm planning to build it like this, i havent played the game since launch my build is outdated it seems

thoughts on the big FS nerfs? in NW Aeternum.. see FS still being a top dps? (which is prrty much its main n solo role, damage) i think they actualy might have kinda made FS meh now.. they listened to all the FS haters..

I'm not sure if Fire Staff is getting nerfed. I think that the weapon has been in a good spot for some time now, but it is hard to keep up with the mele and the number of extras they have.

Which nerfs? (not sarcastically, I don't know aside from fireball and refreshing pillar perks). Since they added the perk Distained Infliction and opened a new perk slot in artifact inferno, that gets kinda balanced They buffed the lamethrower build with the new weapon perk and the right tree passive being increased from 100% to 150% damage, now is kinda worth to burst. You can tap flamethrower for 1-2 seconds to get 3-6 smolder stacks, then pillar of fire and then heavy attack, for a total of 100-200% + 170-180% + 140% + 150%.

Games have ups and downs, so it is quite normal during dead period of no new content to have low numbers. As long as there are above 1k players in a server, everything is cool as you can do your content.
