Great video! Thanks, Matt! Btw, those Meus axles ship with 14% OD gears front AND back. The optional gears are standard 2/16's. So, if you want to run UD in rear, You're probably stuck with 34% total OD. I've never seen UD gears less than 20%. I really wish MEUS would give us a couple more gear options for the front (20%, 30%).

Yeah, I don't begrudge anyone making a buck off their work. But something like flat links, buying a sheet of carb. fibre or aluminum, or even acrylic sheet is pretty cheap for a sq.foot and you can get a lot of custom links from a sq. foot! Plus you can cut and bend them however you like and don't need link ends. And you could do it with simple hand tools too. Same goes for chassis rails. That Athos is lovely. But at $110US/$170+ CDN dollars (!!!!!!!!!!!!) I couldn't even sniff them. And again, a sq.' of flat sheet can get you quite a few DIY units. Thank as always for real reviews Matt!

put some o-rings between the knuckle and the hex to push the stub shaft out and it will help the wheel wobble. I called and asked them about that. @2fmrc11 ай бұрын
It’s a very good rtr but there’s really no comparison when it comes to this truck. The Evo can be made better and be closer to the performance of this one but the chassis and axles on this is just much better imo

@2fmrc awesome, well my next question is , as a person who is getting into the mini rc world, would you go with a cr18p evo pro and build it or build a scx24 with meus axles?
@2fmrc11 ай бұрын
@@brandonupchurch5015 can’t go wrong with either really. Depends what you wanna spend I guess. I’d definitely pick the custom build here over even the decked out Evo pro. But the Evo pro is very solid with a little work. I just think the iso axles blow the turning radius on any other axle out of the water. I’ll almost always choose a custom build over any version of an rtr just because I can make it completely what I want.
