The lyrics were much more raw when cube left and Ren took over. Cube was saving the raw shit for his solo career. This album was my favorite NWA album. Ren solicited west coast gangsta rap fully with this album. Dre used that whole recipe to make The Chronic later. Them and Comptons Most Wanted really brought a west coast sound that I miss

The beats for this song was ahead of its time. This sounds like Dre's later work like 2001, but came out in '92, and it doesn't have that same flovor as The Chronic, ol' skool shit, but more of late 90s early 2000s style. Again, way ahead of its time! Dre and alot of the west coast producers= kings of music making.

this jam was released a quarter century ago, holy shit!!! since then, lakers won 5 championships, eazy e, 2pac, biggie died, we got a black president, what else happened? brick phones in cars turned into iphones? haha just reminiscing on my childhood...
