I have watched dozens of reaction videos to this and other Dimash songs and you are the first one to hear and understand how difficult it is to front fade upwards into a note. It is like a guitar player using the volume control with his finger after the note has been struck on the string. Keep checking Dimash songs out and you will be in awe as millions of us Dears are already. Sinful Passion / Stranger / Olimpico / Love Is Like a Dream / Across Endless Dimensions / Ikanaide / El Amor En Ti / Ave Maria / Passione. After these fasten you seat belt and be prepared to be emotionally drained with The Story of One Sky which is a 14 minute mini movie produced, acted in and all voices recorded by Dimash. 7 million of his own money. It is his plea to for world peace. Enjoy!

Hi, I come from Germany and, like all the other Dears, I'm always happy when someone discovers new Dimash for themselves. I've been a fan for several years and was the first to play his songs on my online radio station. Is he the best singer in the world?... I think it definitely depends on the genre. He worked his ass off for years of his childhood for this voice and this stage performance. He is not an alien (as some sometimes write). But he is simply damn well trained. And he brings a smile, an open mouth in amazement and goosebumps into our lives. And it shows that it's worth thinking outside the box.

To answer some of your questions: Dimash is a master of microphone handling. Also his tone is really warm even in the highest register. The notes are masterfully rounded and so full. His vibrato is out of this world. He pours his soul in every performance and you can feel it in your guts. His handsome appearance and naughty persona help especially in the pop genre songs he has in his catalogue. His speaking voice is extremely soothing. After "Opera 2" you could check out his rendition of "Diva Dance" from the Bastau Concert. Also his latest song "Smoke" is 🔥You should definitely subscribe to his Official Channel. @@fiorelasuarez7872 Yeah I was going to say that his English is fluent enough these days to get by in interviews and understanding - at least as good as half of americans. He may struggle with some niche PhD conversations, but he can talk about most everyday things and definitely just about anything related to music, so I'd call that fluent. I just think a lot of people haven't heard him talk very much since he's learned English and a lot of his longer English interviews are a couple years old, but he learns languages pretty fast.

Dimash was 22 here, he is highly qualified in music, working on his Doctorate now. Then he sand in a 6 octactaves, now in 2024 around 7.3-7 octave range. He performs songs in 15 languages; Russian, English, Mandarin, Sicilian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Arabic ,French, German, Serbian, Turkish,Ukrainian, Kyrgyz, and Japanese. Besides his native Kazakh tongue. He speaks fluent Russian, which is still an official language in most former Soviet Republics. Dimash is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin, which he says is a challenging language to learn. Dimash plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. He is a very humble polite person. He still trains nearly every day. Here, the audience is full of singing coaches/teachers and students. Remember this is a competition. He must make them jump up and down or he will NOT get through to the next round. He doesn't get to sing all his own song choices either. He should have won, but politics got in the way and he came 2nd. Huge back lash from the public. So the program has now change this. Which is good. After his first song. SOS 👇👇👇👇👇 the show got 600 MILLION views - this threw Dimash out to the world. Dimash Qudaibergen - SOS - 1st ONE. На что Димаш ответил басом "Это ложь" ))) What a hilarious reaction! Thanks! The joyful man at the end of the video is Dimash's father, whose presence in the hall Dimash did not suspect. It's a pity that you didn't come across a more complete version where he finally saw his father... These emotions are priceless! And by the way, you could also hear Dimash talking there. Imagine, after such a performance, he asks his father if he sang well ...! The interview with Dimash is enough on KZbin, as well as many other short and long videos where he speaks. One day, Dimash was asked if it was true that he had the voice of an angel. To which Dimash replied in a bass voice, "That's a lie")))

His talking voice is quite low for someone who can sing up into the whistle register! There are lots of interviews with him speaking. He talks in a thoughtful, measured way, and he thinks carefully about everything he says. Both the low voice and the speed of his speech are sort of surprising for a person who sings so fluently with such fast, amazing runs and melismas at whatever speed is required. There is a point in the chorus of his recent song When I've Got You where he sings a whole lot of words really fast and it's quite mindblowing! Here is a recent clip of an interview with Dimash - it shows you what he sounds like. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioCsnKCditaHmqssi=ft2IbrMI4lkdHbfC

His agility in pronouncing at high speed is amazing. I remember when I wanted to learn the rap section of "Be with me", I found it impossible to pronounce, there is a part that sounds like a machine gun, there must be some 10 words/second. Admittely, that's his own language. But also the song he recorded in mandarin for the Jackie Chan movie has some challenging speedy sections.

If you'll actually watch to the end of the video, after the song is done, he often speaks,,,, if it's to recognize who is on stage with him, or to thank someone. Also, I heard that Vitas (who I also watched), didn't want Dimash to do Opera 2, anymore. I don't think I have heard Dimash ever do it again.

There are many great interviews with Dimash and also several performances where he speaks before/after. I LOVE watching his Stranger concert in Almaty and as my Kazakh as improved I love listening to him talk between songs in his native language, but his English is really beautiful now as well! If you go onto his official KZbin you will find recent videos which include interviews or spots for upcoming performances where he is speaking. This performance is really fun not only because of the reactions of his competitors (keep in mind this was only the second performance they had heard from him and the first one was so shocking, they had no idea what he was capable of yet) but also because he didn't know his dad was tucked away watching. The extended cut of him realizing his dad was there in the audience after performing is absolutely endearing; I still tear up every time. Plus we don't always get to see "flirty" Dimash so this is a really fun side of his personality, and I think it's adorable that afterward he said he was a bit embarrassed that he had flirted so much with the crowd in front of his dad and that if he'd known Kanat was watching he probably would have toned it down. That's why it's great that Kanat made sure Dimash didn't know he was there, the attitude he gave in this performance was perfect.

Dimash is an interesting person. He was born with talrny but his parents, who are trained musicians and performers, recognized his innate takent and began to develop it when he was a toddler. He was playing the piano by the time he was 5. His education focused on music. He took voice, composition, performance. He was trained in opera. He has his bachelor's and masters in some asoect of music. I believe he is pursuing his dictorite. Dimash is a Muslim which is apparent in some of his music but more iften in interviews. He was offered a position in the opera company in Kazakhstan. He decided to pursue a different track. He has recently incorpirated rap, R&B and other pop elements in his music. He is a strong advocate for peace. A few of his compositions reflect this. He turns 30 on May 24th. He is having a major concert to celebrate it.

Te recomiendo Adagio, Stranger, Ikanaide, Know etc. Un abrazo gigante desde Chile 🇨🇱❤️🇰🇿

I really love Stranger and Adagio. Glad you are enjoying Dimash! He's the best!

This was actually only the second song he sang on that show. SOS was the first one. He is the youngest contestant ever, and a wild card. He couldn't win, because he is not Chinese. There was such an uproar, that they had to change that rule for the next year. They apologized to Dimash. He's used to having tons of family around him. He was sad and lonely at this time. The show reached out to his family. His dad flew in all the way from Kazakhstan. He was in the audience, though Dimash didn't know it. Dimash actually said that he wouldn't have been so flirty with the women in the audience if he'd known his dad was there. ROFL!.

Thanks for reaction I agree.. I love this performance because this is live version and increased several times from the original and how Dimash's high voice doesn't hurt the ears but actually makes the sound more beautiful and comfortable to heard Next try " Olimpico " by Dimash Qudaibergen Greeting from Indonesian Dears ❤️

There are so many songs that will continue to blow you away so it doesn't really matter what you react to next - Dimash's vocal abilities has no limits and with his command of all the techniques, he can sing anything. He has essentially created his own genre ! I have never heard anyone like Dimash As an avid music enthusiast, I have never heard anyone like Dimash in all my 68 years. One of the best voices of this generation and we are fortunate that Dimash has shared his art with the World. Thank you for your reaction.

We love it when musicians react to Dimash becsuse you know how incredible his technique and skill really is. He is so far above normal, in so many genres, that he really is unsurpassed. 25 years of singing training and an incredible gift gives you that. More please.

Thank you for your reaction! I would say Dimash's speaking voice is probably that of a baritone. You are a tenor, if I'm not mistaking, right? You can hear Dimash clearly speaking after his performance of "Sinful Passion" in Sochi, which is a performance you must definitely include in the top of your Dimash to-do videos. It has some extraordinary elements, like an awesome operatic tenor C5, an insane B5 flat in a mixed belt and a crazy pentatonic run, which is part of a phrase that lasts 24 seconds (including that belt). Dimash ended Opera 2 on a E6 flat, but he can sing up to an F6 with full tone on his reinforced falsetto. He can go even higher with whistle tones, as I'm sure many others will also mention, but to me, his E6s and F6s are more impressive. He is also singing a full voiced E2 on "The Story of One Sky", so I would say his full voice extends from E2 to F6 (his full range is even wider on both ends).

He was much younger then. The best option is Stranger 2021 new wave in Sochi, where Dimash speaks a lot and shows his phenomenal skills while presenting Stranger.

If I might just add, I recommend you view 2018 Sinful Passion next for a couple of reasons. One--you will hear some things in that performance that you will hear nowhere else. Two--it in and of itself is one of Dimash's greatest performances. It also shows you his outstanding lower range. Also, near the end is a series of three belts. Dimash takes a breath goes into the belt followed by a series of runs that sustains thru 24+ seconds on that ONE breath. It's just amazing. I discovered Dimash a few months after he competed in China's annual singing competition of professional Chinese singers in I Am Singer 2017, the most viewed singing competition in the world. The show was his springboard to a larger worldwide audience. Dimash was the first non-Chinese Singer ever invited. He was also the youngest ever at 22 years old. He was an over night sensation requiring bodyguards after OPENING the annual competition with his 2017 version of SOS. That show has many great performances by Dimash including this Opera 2 you just reacted to. Thank you for sharing Dimash. He is simply amazing.and never disappoints. AFTER Sinful Passion, I highly recommend Ave Maria, Stranger, Adagio, Autumn Strong 2017 (Please react to all.of it-Gloria Wu Channel version with subtitles-Dimash sings this song in Mandarin to his Chinese audience learning it in one week phonetically for the competition) The Story of One Sky, Love is Like A Dream.

I am very glad that you are pleasantly impressed and ecstatic with Dimash's performance and interpretation...Whatever song you choose from his repertoire you will not go wrong with it... is he a musician so complex in both creation and performance that you wonder how anyone with a perfect voice like his can exist? Talent? Dedication? Perseverance? Perfection? All this and more embodies the Dimash man... I can't wait for the next reactions to Dimash's songs... Maybe... "Ave Maria"...

I feel grateful every single day that I am alive at this stage of his life and get to see the maturity of his voice and his creativity for the arts for years to come. "Vitas" tried to do the version Dimash did but couldn't so he put out a video a long while back that has him singing his parts and the other parts he has and a few sopranos singing the extra bits.

Dimash is one of the extremely rare people born with perfect pitch. And has been studying as a vocalist since he was 5 years old. And yes is a polyglot, can play multiple instruments, and not only sings and plays music, but also writes music. His love of the musical arts, to me was solidified when he expressed and this is a paraphrase, not a direct quote... The concept that it isn't how famous or how much money you get or make that makes you a great performer...it is how authentically you present it. That idea was what told me this isn't about the money or fame for him... It is a pure love for music. The version of S.O.S you reacted to from a digital concert he did during the worldwide COVID lockdown. He charged $10 for access to it. That is all. From what I've seen interview wise he is humble and sincere and without any pretenses... So when I heard he calls his fans his dears... I don't doubt that he means it after being stunned with his talent and then delving down the rabbit hole to find out more...lol
