Great game. I love Jamaica but they do need to tighten up on their discipline. They definitely have the athletic abilities to beat Australia but they need to be so consistent because Australia rarely drops their level.

The comments are just wild and this is coming from a South African. I grew up playing netball and have played 3 positions in attack we are trained to force or rather draw in our defender to contact however i do feel netball could bebefit from implementing the challenge rule yes umpires make mistakes and miss things they're just human and 2 people manning 14 players come on. Maybe extra eyes and allowing coaches to challenge calls or non-calls. Maybe give 2 to each like in volleyball otherwise the blame game will continue 😂

Ereeny Fanous well we have watched Aiken play too. And as a matter of fact she is rlly good that’s why she’s on the Queensland firebirds. This game is not her best game, u shld watch her firebirds matches. She has rlly strong takes that not all players can do and so what if she uses her height as an advantage? Netball is a sport where height plays ab important role in it. Me and Michelle feel that she’s a good player, and we’re just speaking up for her. U shld watch her firebirds game. Not many players can hold their space well when against Laura geitz, but Aiken can. She may not be as fast as other midcourt players. Yes geitz can defend well I’m not saying she doesn’t.

Inertia18 u are allow to contact before u get the ball. Pushing the other player is ok as long as u dont do it harshly and as long as the umpire didnt see it. I always use that trick and rarely get call contact.

You are not allowed to contact - it's called 'contesting' the ball when both players are 50/50 contesting for position and possession. In my opinion however Bassett is FORCING the contact, not at all contesting, and therefore is actually fouling. I play GD myself and rarely offend via contact as I am a clean player, and 90% of turnovers I take cleanly - if I do foul another player, it was not with intent and my eye was always for the ball and never the player. This is how netball is played with sportsmanship - contest, but do not foul.
