@WishingForSerenity4 жыл бұрын
Fun video, but I was wondering how it works with regulations regarding preparing the catch on the boat? Aren't you supposed to keep the crab shells in case Fish & Wildlife pays you a visit? Honestly, I'd love to prepare everything on the boat so I don't have all that fish guts and crab parts rotting in my garbage can at home. We used to crab right off Camano State Park beach using a rowboat dinghy and cook it right there, I agree it is fantastic.
@NWFishingSecrets4 жыл бұрын
I believe the regs actually exempt retention of carcasses if the fish is being prepared for immediate consumption. So you still can't fillet your fish on the boat and leave without the carcasses if you're taking it home. I would probably just recommend to hold on to any carcasses in a bucket until you're done eating the catch on the boat, then dump them. Nothing illegal there.
