You got the best part of that Brown. Hookset and fight. That's actually the perfect release. Thanks for sharing!

I couldn’t agree more, best case scenario for everyone involved. Probably best I never handled that fish.

Beautiful fight man... looked like you did everything right... other than using that old net :) Equipment brother. Yeah... it counts. That was great. Congrats.

Nice vid as always man! Beautiful looking creek, I wish I knew that one being I’m from Oregon. Many rattlers out there?
@NWoutdoorsadventuresАй бұрын
@@lheftw1376 there are plenty of rattlers anywhere east of the cascades 😉. I appreciate the support my friend!

"Does this count?" Ring him up, buddy. Nicely done. That was fun. Be aware of ticks, as well as previously mentioned rattlers. Watched one fella who tucks his lower pant leg inside his socks when walking around in areas like that. Seems reasonable to me.

If you want to insure fish survival dont handle them. That slimy feel on your hand comes from protective film on fish . When you handle them you remove that protection and they become suseptible to infection and disease . Also a net does the same thing and is very hard on the fish. Leave the fish in the water and remove the hook with a pair of hemostats. Take your picture if you have to do it while fish is in the water just before release.
