i have binged watched from S1 to this episode and i have been loving this series and this was nice for OSC to be used for a new purpose without being stuck in the shed for days weeks months and years upon end

I thought you were gonna have her as one of Jeffrey’s coach for his Ulfsteaf runs, but no a works unit coach is a very welcoming one. keep up the great work. This sort of thing actually happened. Older coaches were reused under departmental stock such as breakdown and recovery trains when their need on standard passenger services was no longer required.

Why does the work train need a breakvan if OSC is a Brake coach already?

Her brakes were removed since she’s just a coach like what Alan Pegler did using a Pullman brake coach on Scotsman’s US tour. It’s brake were removed because it wasn’t needed since it was an exhibition coach.
