I like how this became a flashback story. Thomas having an unseen adventure on his branch line. I was shocked to see a Blue Henry appear in the story. Thomas having an argument with a passenger and then having an accident of his own the following day. Glynn making a surprise appearance was a nice add to it :) .

I like how Thomas is aligned with his season 4 persona sharing a personal experience to teach Henry something, but getting really fussy about it.

Never expected to see RWS Blue Henry in it, but it's really cool. And also, it has been a while since S9 where a flashback story was told by a character.

For some reason, I thought this was going to be an adaptation of Thomas Gets Bumped, but this was a welcome surprise. A great exploration of the trials and tribulations of Thomas' early years.

I'm surprised Thomas told that passenger off. Although I don't approve of his behavior towards Henry, he did have a point in regards to punctuality and how passengers do complain.
@comicfan1324 Жыл бұрын
Don’t get me wrong, Thomas was definitely in the wrong for being rude to Henry and his bad attitude probably was scaring off a lot of the passengers, but he does have a point about passengers complaining. I mean, when Thomas does his work adequately, the passengers don’t think him. If he goes above and beyond, only the fat controller will thank him. But if he’s late by a minute, everyone will tell him what a bad engine is. It doesn’t justify how Thomas was acting, but it’s understandable that he would get pretty annoyed at that system of gratitude pretty quickly. It’s definitely a situation of Thomas being in the wrong but you can understand his position.

Totally! What I love about classic Thomas stories (and storytelling in general) is that there's no definitive right or wrong side. As much as I don't blame Thomas for being so fixated on punctuality and his frustration with the passenger's rants. His whole beef with that passenger could have been prevented if he didn't slag Henry off in the first place, not just in that story, but also in Thomas and the Guard when he said that Henry is fat and need exercise. It was because of that that he unintentionally left the guard behind. I love the fact that Thomas told Henry that story as he didn't want him to suffer the same mishap he did. But unlike Percy and Duck, who didn't take Thomas's pieces of advice based on his own experiences, Henry (a big engine) listened to Thomas and reconciled with his passenger. Again, awesome storytelling! Mattel needs to hire you. You could be the next Andrew Brener! I love your stories, @NWR1991

I am sure STH is well aware of the complaints of the passengers so in order to make sure that they get to their destinations on time he offered the bus services. Of course he doesn't like it when his engines causes confusion and delay but when he gets to the root of the problem he make sures its resolved to the best of his abillity. Also I will say I sometimes wonder if STH took Henry off of passenger services because of what the condtion he was in maybe then it would not cause so much delays for Thomas.

I can personally relate to this story because I have been in this position before many times and it made me realize that nobody’s perfect and we all make mistakes but we should always admit our mistakes and make up for them appropriately rather than getting worked up about it and getting angry. This episode has also taught me that learning from mistakes and proving your point takes time and patience. I’ve also learned from this episode that when someone does something bad you shouldn’t respond the same way by retaliating but instead just ignore them or work it out properly by talking it out but not before taking a break. And if someone is in a bad mood or is trying to get attention don’t get involved otherwise it will escalate and get worse and not better. And if things aren’t going your way sometimes you’ll have to put up with it or ignore it depending on the situation and circumstances and environment. And finally when you are frustrated by something or someone getting aggressive won’t help make the situation better it will only escalate it. The bottom line is that when someone does something wrong you let them realize it for themselves and you don’t police them over it either. And if it’s bothering you than calm down appropriately and do not resort to extreme measures otherwise it will only get worse. Certain things that people do are wrong but other people shouldn’t react or respond by doing something wrong themselves. Example when you hit someone and they hit you back it’s wrong on both sides when you hit somebody that’s wrong on your part but when the person you hit hits you back that’s also wrong on their part because it doesn’t make things better but worse. Learning from mistakes is hard but it takes time patience and courage to do so. This episode really taught me something that hits home for me. Me and my mom have had these issues when I was a kid but now I’m resolving them with her and we’re working them out and figuring them out together. Nice episode NWR1991 you really taught me something that always stumped me until now keep it up.👍

As I said in my 60’s timeline the footage isn’t ‘accurate’ to what really happened as in universe reason, like how Rev.W.Awdry says in his lectures that the illustrations aren’t ‘accurate’. It’s what I say when it comes to scenes in my older videos without having to make a big logical explanation
