Everything about this is amazing. The clown makeup to me, represented feeling silly about liking someone who likes someone else or liking someone who isn’t the best for them. The holding the heart balloon represented the hurt and loneliness of finding out. Even if my own theories are wrong, this is how I feel and see in the music video. I'm absolutely in love with this song! Aside from the fact that your voice is absolutely gorgeous, I'm so happy that queer media is finally being made in Arabic. Growing up as a queer person in an Arab country, the only queer rep in my mother tongue that I'd been able to find were cautionary tales (Sarah Hegazy and such) that provided me with absolutely zero faith that things would ever improve here, but having actual, non-antagonistic, queer media incorporating Arabic?? Establishing non-heteronormative ideas as something that isn't purely some "western construct"?? The first time I saw a snippet of this, I freaking cried.
