NXWM 4692 Volvo B7TL (Voith/€3) BU05HFL

One of the stranger sounding B7TLs I’ve come across is West Bromwich based 4692 which has an almost silent Voith besides some axle whine in higher gears and the retarder; the result being raw engine sounds normally more akin to ZF variants!

This bus was serving route 5: West Bromwich Bus Station to Sutton Coldfield, Gracechurch Centre
Via: Great Barr, Pheasey, Kingstanding and New Oscott.

That’s a unique sounding B7TL. Usually these West Midlands Gemini 1s have a ZF gearbox.

The bu05 batch is the only batch of voith gemins at nx the rest are all ZF.
