The guy who sang at 3:57 is named Chanyeol. The amazing thing about him is that he's actually the main rapper of EXO, but still he's a great singer too! All the EXO members are talented vocalists, even the rappers. Chanyeol is also known as one of the most talented members because he is very multi-talented. As you saw in the video, he was playing the piano. He plays a lot of instruments, some including piano, drums, and guitar, and mostly learned things on his own/by ear. He also composes his own music which he posts online and has his own studio. I have a lot of respect for him as an artist and as a person in general. He is one of the sweetest, most kindhearted, and most sensitive people. He is such a hardworker, like they all are, and he really likes to challenge himself as he's very competitive. For instance, in the past he was very bad at bowling and in a reality show, he kept getting gutterballs. Then, Chanyeol decided he wanted to become a good bowler, so he practiced bowling constantly, and then he ended up winning in a competition for bowling! He has done things like this many times, putting his mind to anything and accomplishing it because he is that kind of person who will always impress you. I hope you will really appreciate Chanyeol for all of his talents. He is really an amazing guy and his vocals don't always get enough credit as compared to the other members, but he is really good at everything he does. Thank you for reacting to EXO. P.S. Baekhyun and Chen are the two who does the high notes... They have the same range....but in terms of technicals, Chen is more of..he can kill notes in a female key bdw.....while Baekhyun has a very flexible voice where transitions of range has no problem since he can get into the 3rd octave....Chen and Baekhyun are the lead singers who are very stable during live performances...And i would like also to emphasize D.O Kyungsoo who is more known of his runs ...actually he does high notes too..great round belts actually...he has an adapting ears to music that he can easily remember a tone and vowel sound even from an unfamiliar language which gives him a little advantage in singing. He is also very stable and flexible. Now..we have Xiumin...he can reach higher among the three members ive mentioned...but he needs more of technical and breathing techniques which i know SME is currently doing this previous months and subunit comebacks...Chanyeol on d other hand is d main rapper but he has great ears too in music..and he can sing so well too...he has this raspiness that is more manly to hear...he can play a lot of instruments too. Lay here also can do belting...he is so good in pop and ballads...though he is one of d main rappers and dancer...AND ALL OTHER MEMBERS CAN SING TOO...THOUGH THEY HAVE DIFFERENT SPECIALTIES.

Hey first of all i'm shook at how you can guessed it correctly about the radio performance!! Yes, that was actually happened in their debut days (2012) so they were still very young at that time, and now they've had improved a lot. Second of all, the guy(s) who always did the highnote are Chen, Baekhyun and D.O. They are main vocals of EXO btw. But mainly wether its between Chen and Baekhyun who does a lot of highnote, especially in this compilation video. Third of all, thank you so much for doing another generous and genuine reaction of EXO ❤❤❤ we all are really appreciated that. And thats just another reason, because the main purpose (me personally) watch this video is so i could know what professional had to say about EXO, and see whats their opinion. There are two that do high notes the most. The one you reacted most often to was Chen (with the great harmonics) but the guy you said had a perfect mix is Baekhyun, and there's also a high note in there by Xiumin. A good reaction for Chen would be from King of Masked Singer, either Drunken Truth or Stained. In it, he's wearing a mask because it's part of a competition where the judges don't know who the singer is. There is also El Dorado, which really showcases Baekhyun, and Tell Me What Is Love, which is sung by the third Main singer, D.O

The reason why they sound better in the other live radio performance is mainly because what they sang that time belonged in their original discography thus giving them a better grasp of the song (technically and emotionally) while the rest of the radio performances are all covers. (PS: all of the radio performances in the compiled video are from 2013) Moving on... yaaassss EXO vocals are the best in the industry!!! Btw, the people who could high note are Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin, Lay and sometimes also Kyungsoo and Suho but mostly it's gonna be Chen or Baekhyun that would take this part. You should watch Chen's cover of 'Tears' if you really fancy high notes or maybe watch EXO's 'El Dorado' or 'Drop that' live for highnotes and some hype 💙

But the radio recording isn't bad at all....Its still very stable and the voice isnt sounding flat too! I am not saying this as a clueless fan. The radio recordings were fine enough, they were actually real and untouched vocals. Some of the clips in the video used, especially the concert clips, have some post-production, so what we hear is slightly or heavily polished vocals (the harmonisation clip for example). She's probably used to the more polished, slighty studio-ish sound than the authentic sound they produce.
