Nyan Nyan Service Medley x Final Attack Frontier Greatest Hits!

And here we have a mix of the original Nyan Nyan Service Medley, and the Final Attack Frontier Greatest Hits! version from the macross movie Sayonara no Tsubasa. :D The series version covers more songs, but the movie version is really good (and more emotional too in my opinion) and adds some new songs, so I combined them to make this 11 minute long composite version. Enjoy :) Hopefully it won't get taken down.

talons claw The only thing they could do to make that mix better would be to mix something from the masterpieces of Macross 7. I'd say SDF as well, but they'd have Watashi no Kare wa Pilot already.

I've done it; and I didn't stop there: I mixed samplings of other songs into the middle (such as Obelisk), flowed the end of it into an abbreviated version of Sayonara no Tsubasa, and wrapped it up with a haunting refrain from "Do You Remember Love" found at the tail end of "F Refrain" on the Sayonara no Tsubasa soundtrack (Track 16, starting at 2:12). All told, the length exceeded a half hour, without any feeling of monotony, and no jarring transitions. _That_ was epic! Unfortunately, the hard drive I had it on crashed before I backed it up.

I'm not entirely happy with the version I put together; it could use a bit of tightening up in a couple of spots (notably the transitions to and from the Macross 7 segment), and there's at least one small segment that I meant to include but overlooked; but despite those flaws, I'm rather proud of the result. OK; good news and bad news: Good news is that I've reconstructed my Nyan Nyan Extended Medley; I even expanded on it to include Sheryl and Ranka singing some FB7 tunes (though I'm not as happy with the transitions in and out of it as I'd like). Bad news is that I only have it as an MP3, and I no longer have the means to package it into a video.
