he's a dude. generally its wrong to say who the person is within the yurukyara in japan, as they believe that the character should be its own entitiy, but its fairly well known that nyangostar is a male. he's been confirmed to be the manager of the yurukyara. he handles profits, manages merch and plans most of his own shows. his identity hasn't been officially stated because of that yurukyara identity thing though. however theres a theory that nyango COULD be the mayor of aomori, which is funny to think about since the mayor is super old, but it makes sense since the mayor would obviously want the best for his prefecture, but theres also a theory that nyango is actually also the main drummer of the band Babymetal; Hideki Aoyama. Aoyama shares a similar style and height to nyangostar, and we've never seen them play together or appear together ever, despite Nyango generally meeting up with famous drummers within Japan etc. also, Nyango often covers / plays a LOT of Babymetal music and his drumming style is almost identical to Aoyamas, but then again, he could just be a massive fan of the group, as Aoyama wasn't born in Aomori, and neither were his parents.
