Elfen Lied still remains my favorite anime of all time because of its depth and emotional quality. It deals a lot with the feelings and experiences I had growing up with severely abusive parents who abandoned me, and the severe bullying I suffered though all of school. Nothing has ever come so close to having the empathy for the way it felt growing up that way. I am forever greatful for Lynn Okamoto and Mamoru Kanbe for the masterpiece that was Elfen Lied.

Overwhemingly nice people like nyanners tend to not give themselves credit and hold them selves to standards nobody else does. Its somewhat of a fine line that rests between egotistical and self-deprecation, and it used to be that most people sat firmly in the former category, but in our new digital age we've mostly fallen to the latter category and don't give ourselves enough credit for our skills, especially since the internet allows us all to witness those who are better than us in the skills we would've otherwise prided ourselves upon. So yeah, Nyanners should be proud of her voice, honestly I went completely still when she started singing, and I'm a very twitchy person, so I can easily say that she has true vocal talent, just WOW is what I was like :D

I would say the anime was very well done, it has forever been one of my most favourite anime's.

@@wiswc They're both great in their own ways, but the anime only covered the first few volumes with an original ending while the manga went way longer and was more fulfilled. Definitely worth a read.
