NYC parking garage collapse: 1 dead, 5 injured | LiveNOW from FOX

One person was killed and several were injured in a parking garage collapse in Lower Manhattan Tuesday afternoon.
There were six workers inside the building on 37 Ann Street at the time of the incident. One of the six was killed and four were transported to the hospital in stable condition. Another patient refused medical attention, according to New York City Fire Department officials.

Given who is the Commissioner of the Department of Buildings it explains how many of these buildings construction permits and their inspections are getting passed without thorough scrutiny . The way these Buildings are going up so fast and the amount of restoration of Buildings happening will only bring more unfortunate disasters . The small hat people runs NYC and apparently the Mayor is on their payroll . They have been getting away with Building violations for decades and all they do is play the ownership shell game to avoid personal liability .
