New York City's public pools are open for the summer, but some have sections closed because of a shortage of lifeguards. CBS New York's Kristie Keleshian has more on the struggle city pools are dealing with this summer.

NYC doesn’t want to pay lifeguards enough. So lifeguards are not coming back. There’s other jobs out there that pay more

I feel like USA has these hiring processes that seem to make life as much of a pain in the A as possible. It should be as easy as a CPR training course. But folks are too scared of other humans now since there is always pointless hoops to jump thru asymptotically until a big nothing summer almost happens after all that "training"
In order to be a lifeguard it's a little more than a CPR course genius

I thought Adams was going to solve the lifeguard issue with illegals (migrants, dreamers) because they are excellent swimmers. (His words not mine) what happened to that plan??

It's probably a dangerous job in the hood . Like being a pool cop nobody likes you unless they need you .
