I'm a senior in Highschool and every single college I applied to is in New York City (I'm really hoping I get into NYU, but if not, I know I'll end up where I need to be), I have family there and out of the many times I've visited there, I've just felt so in place. If there’s already smoke and fire in your room I don’t think that many people would be able to stand up take something to break the window and step outside of it through the sheds, by which you could also cut yourself. Maybe it’s just locked due to safety reasons and there is some kind of trick to open it
