@@ClutchFirst right now I have a Triumph trident 660. At first I wanted the next one to be the new street triple rs. But now, I'm stuck between the speed triple 1200rs and a tuono v4 factory, probably leaving more towards the triumph because of dealer network support

I don't have one but I want my license and the rs660 is on my list along with a few others ducati streetfighter v4, honda Cbr1000rr-r, bmw s1000rr and yamaha 6 my wish list

Idk who told you about that B.S about the bmw. You can add carbon for 3 thousand. And or the m package for couple thousand. NO ONE in the bike community going to shun a s1000r. Or RR. Get the bike you want.

This is not to say that the S1000RR is not a good bike. I'm speaking in terms of prestige. When talking about a V4R, SP and limited edition, there's a level of prestige that comes along with those bikes. At 18K for a S1000RR or R1, pretty much anyone can grab one. When you're in the realm of 30K -50K range not everyone can just grab one.
