There was a time in my life, before my cardiologist entered my life, I'd have put down two of these sandwiches. Now....I'd hang out in front of this stand and take in all the aroma and beautiful smells.....then make my way to the grilled chicken salad, no dressing stand!!!!! Crazy good stuff...only in NY!

Having come from the Jersey shore and by the way I'm in my mid-60s I have probably eaten my weight in the Midway sausage peppers and onion sandwiches they sold on the Seaside boardwalk 😋 right now I can't be the only one that can actually smell this dish watching KZbin😂

I love Little Italy but am neither Italian nor for I even live nearby anymore. From New Jersey which is pretty close to Italy:) Oh I remember Italian sausage sandwiches were among my favories and my very first job as a teenager was working in small 3 person Italian deli in Westfied NJ back in the 60's. Italian sausages were always so juicy and tender. But nowadays almost all the sausages we get, here in Fla are dryyyyyyyyyy and leannnnnnnnnnn. Terrible. Looking at the sausages in the video at the festival we can see the fat dripping and only ask, is it real or is it memorex....are the sauses in Little Italy still as juicy now as they were back then? This senior citizen would like to catch a flight if they are!

maybe i'm being paranoid, but i see raw meat touching cooked meat, that can't be good? at one pt near the end a guy rest raw sausage right on top of cooked sausage! They could have a system where all the 'cooked' meat gets cooked again or something, not sure.

You only need to wear gloves if your handling food thats ready to eat. Meaning any food that’s going directly from the hand to your mouth. The onions will be grilled first, so no, gloves aren’t necessary.
