NYC Subway HD 60fps: Morning Rush Hour on The J, M, Z [Jamaica El] @ Lorimer Street & Flushing Ave

Shot 1/11/17. This goes to show just how busy and close together service can be during the rush hours. During the course from 7:50 AM to 9:00 AM, we see every type of train that runs out of East New York Yard (R32, R42, R143, R160A) on every line that runs through this section. I will replicate this with the 7 train in the near future. Enjoy the many trains and different angles =)

Well good Lord. There is definitely a great amount of train action at this particular stop. This is great footage. You captured all of the great classic and modern cars all in one stop and in the course of one afternoon. Great film!

Back in 1997, I came up early 1 morning to record the rush hour on the J-Z. I love the Broadway brooklyn elevated. Of course at that time the line was populated by 40m-42 which I loved.

Fan Railer Yup! Love the way it looks when its at that angle when you shoot trains across the platform. Gives you a nice angle of the proportion of the train to the station and where it stops.

Amtrak bores the fuck out of me. There's nothing worth catching on the NEC anymore, and SEPTA is too far to travel for regularly, now that nothing special is running there either. Both of those systems will have to wait until new equipment starts to show up.
