I lived in Dyker Heights once I graduated college. I would walk up & down the blocks to see all the amazing Xmas decorations. It really is magical. ❤

Growing up on Roosevelt Island NYC, I loved seeing all of the city lights across the East River. As an adult living in FL, I love the Tampa Riverwalk. It's magical.

One of my favorites has been in Sioux Falls SD at Falls Park. This park is a public park surrounded the city's waterfalls. And from the end of November to the first week of January they decorate it into a winter wonderland. There are still remnants of a hydroelectric plant from 1881, Falls Overlook Cafe that was once used in the early 1900's for the power company. The 128 acre park is lit up with lights, decorative structures, holiday music playing, a 5 story observation tower to get a better look and pictures, get a hot chocolate from the cafe, and climb on the quartzite remains for the water falls. The park gets absolutely packed and I have even seen a couple of marriage proposals take place there. My bday is Dec 22nd so I love to go on that day. All of the places you have shown up in your vlogs has been a lot of fun, but I think you saved the best for last at the Botanical Gardens, so beautiful.

Congrats on successfully completing vlogmas! My favorite place to look at lights was this Christmas store that went all out. It would get so full of people driving by to see the lights because they were so amazing.

The university I attended does lights every year and they have a festival called Light the Way. The lights start the whole city wide process of lighting the San Antonio river and it’s really a special thing to be a part of you can drive or walk around the university to see the lights and it’s really beautiful!

Growing up Dyker Heights it a lot of fun to see the house with the Christmas lights. You probably find a nice spot to eat in Bay Ridge. It might be packed with tourists lol It has gotten popular over the years.

I used to make my kids a calendar, where I put Hershey kisses on it, and they would get a Christmas kiss every day. It was fun and cute for kids 🌲☃️

These 12 days have been eye opening!!! I would love to see some vision boards in 2025! I do my vision boards on the computer and use them as wallpaper for my welcome screen. I actually live in the Capital Region of New York. Not Albany, but not far. So, my favorite place to see lights was in Washington Park, in Albany. Up until about 5 years ago, Washington Park had Capital District Lights in Park. And the last dog my family had, before I moved out of my parents' house, loved Christmas lights. So, for Christmas, I would buy a ticket for our car to go through the lights in park. My parents, myself, and my last puppy (for now) would go through the park in car. Somebody, I will get my own puppy. My parents have dog now, but I didn't live at home when they adopted him.

I love how my house looks but especially at this time if the year, it is all decorated and so, so x=c-zy, and my front [prch and side porch are a;; decorated. People always comment how much they look forward to seeing my house decorated for each holiday. We have a place in ma called Laselette and it is so beautiful and so many homes and businesses decorated that I love riding around viewing them. This vlog was really nice and just hanging out with you. I love that you can go out solo and enjoy things without having someone with you. Someday some one very special is going to find you and that will be the best day of his life,

Hi Lucia 🙂 Noooooo, it's the final 12 days of Vlogmas 2024 vlog 😭😭. Thank you for all the hard work you have put into your Vlogmas content for all of us 👏. I love the lights. So enchanting. However bad your trains may be, the trains in the UK are really bad and unreliable. You never know when they will come and they tend to be crowded. Someone thought you looked like a nun!!! So now, do we call you Sister Lucia 😂? In the UK, lots of us visit Blackpool (northern England). There are well over a million lights there.

@lindaannwhite. The lights in Brooklyn were beautiful. There are so many incredible light displays in St Louis. It’s hard to pick one, probably one of my favorites is Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, IL. You drive through it but there are areas you can get out. They have camel rides for the young and young at heart.

Wonderful NYC Vlogmas! Thank you for all your hard work, in making memorable content. When I was growing up, I have fond memories of our family driving up and down all the streets in the neighborhood to enjoy the lights of the houses. Stunning Christmas trees in the windows, sparkling. Then we would go to the A &W Root Beer carry out. It was such a yummy treat to end our evening. I feel like most towns have that one fully decorated house covered in ribbons, bright lights and candy canes! My family and I would drive by one on the way to town and we would say “there’s Santa’s house!” 😂😂congrats Lucia on completing vlogmas! Where I'm from they close off a whole long strip of really fancy old houses that's like a few miles long. Takes at least an hour to walk all of it and every single house is decked out I'm talking some even have bubble machines. And they always have all the reindeer to try and find and hot chocolate for sale. They have driving days and walking days. It's so much fun and so cool to see all the designs people come up with Mercedes.r44

I am so sad that vlogmas is over. I really enjoyed your content this season. In my hometown there is this place called lights on the lake and so you would take your car and drive around to look at lights. I didn’t go super often because I am a weirdo and I have never been a huge fan of Christmas lights in that way. Like I love Christmas decorations but not tons and tons of lights

We have holiday light shows near us in parks as well as neighborhood displays. Frankly, we never made going to any of these annual traditions. I can say that the lights on my own tree and decorations around the home bring me much more pleasure every day of the holiday season. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season. I think the only part missing was a tour of all holiday department store windows.
