I thought only partners are running 4 projects at one time. Usually consultants + EMs are serving ONE client at any given point no?

the part of the firm that i'm in splits our time across projects vs. being fully dedicated. i think it's more common or maybe well-known to be 100% on one project for X amount of months, and then be "on the bench" between projects though.

I haven't really seen it used much in my own experience! Except for maybe some brainstorming (but not in a serious/official capacity)
