Boy did I need this pick me up vid. Great story indeed and gesture from Shaun. Great book choice too for the baby. I saw the 8 bits at one local Gamestop and debated but got Old Man Logan instead. Later saw some glue marks but considering time line and the world use as some kinda dirt or something. Maybe when do Megaman in that style will buy but we'll might get Sunday, hunting that Kingdom Hearts Funko box. Still see a few sdcc stragglers. Mostly the Gwenpool Rock Candy.

I heard so many war stories this year. Fights breaking out at hot topic over dragonzords scalpers taking whole sets crazy. Reason I was so surprised to see SIX batsmen left at my neighborhood Barnes and Noble.great vid as always. The huntingnones are always my favorite

I hate people that buy more than they need just so they can sell them at ridiculously high prices. But at Barnes and Noble nobody wanted Grindelwald or Saw Gurrera. They still had several a few days after they were released.

This was my first time Funko Pop hunting (I'm a new collector). I went over to my Hot Topic cuz I wanted the Snape Boggart, Sailor V, and Scrooge McDuck. I showed up half an hour early to find a line already formed! And the first couple people bought out ALL the Dragonzords! And there were a couple guys just GRABBING whatever they could get their hands on! Crazy and honestly not cool! But I actually lucked out and was able to get all the Pops I wanted (plus a few extras that weren't from NYC)! But I love you're guys' positivity about your situation! And Shaun (or is it Sean?) really saved the day! Let us collectors stick together!

I would love to see this pop community I wish I had that in my area. Being old school (retail) We would have rules, limits etc. Unfortunately the B&N set up was horrible. No limits on pops, out in the open w/out any reps stating li,mits until getting to the register. Now there were not a lot of bat pops but enough for all customers to get at least 1. parties who ended up with a pops were just out for greed & profit.They even gloated about how they got/took so many. I hate selfish people. I'm new at all this but I don't know how to be aggressive or snatch from others. Funny how you stated you couldn't get McDuck,,, that was the only one I could fine. Plus the Diamond Dumbo came out too. Its cute. Had I known I would have gotten another one for ya guys!! I hope you were able to get one on line. Again, COngrats!!

Stores should really limit the quantity of exclusive pops people can buy. It's so irritating seeing selfish people take like 10 pops of the same kind at a time and leaving others without one. I'm so glad things went well for you guys. I'm glad you met that fabulous man. I stayed home (kind of a shut in), and I ended up getting everything I wanted online. I couldn't believe it. Gamestop worked perfectly for me as did B/N. Hot Topic was great. I got my Snape which was the one thing I didn't want to live without and I got him. I had to got the the doctor's office yesterday and went to a few places. It was a nice day spent with my husband. God bless you guys.

Hi, though l watch all your videos, l haven't commented before but felt l had to on this. As always an excellent video. Now l live in the U.K and though l only collect Disney Pops l could not get one single NYCC edition. I was upset and sad but that's life. Now watching your video that simple act of kindness by the man who gave you your chrome Batman (which l so wanted you to get) literally made me cry. What a lovely thing to have happen - it truly makes you believe in humanity again. Pop collecting is loosing it's fun aspects because of that element that lets greed rule, but your video gave a lot of hope. My husband got the 8-bit Batman and we LOVE it!! The only thing I think they could have done was make the eyes raised off of the face like the nose...but it is still an AWESOME pop!! And we LOVE your videos :-)

I think these 8-bit series pops are great. It's something completely different, unique. And as a Batman (DC general) pop collector, I really love it! I even got the dig dug because... well... why the heck not lol dig dug is a classic 80s arcade game!

Glad the experience ended up positive for you guys. Our pop hunt started out messy as well. My son and I went to NYCC on Thursday but didn't get into the booth. It sucked telling him the week before that we didn't get in (he cried) because that was the main reason we were coming all the way from Toronto. I was still going to make an effort to get what we wanted so I woke up at 3 am like I did for SDCC to order the ones we wanted online. Unfortunately most of the stores hadn't put their pops online at that time like they did for SDCC. Jaqen H'gar was apparently sold out already. I kept refreshing all the sites until B&N finally put theirs up. I put Grindelwald and the Chrome Droid in my cart right away and of course checking out was impossible. I must have tried a dozen times before I gave up. Only one I was able to order was Dengar from Amazon I believe. I went back to bed and tried again around 6:30am and still none of the pops we wanted had been posted. So basically we kept checking all morning as we got ready and headed to the Con. My wife was able to get Bogart Snape from Hot Topic as we drove through the Lincoln Tunnel. And luckily my two awesome cousins dropped by Toys r Us and B&N in Florida for us to get my son Boba Fett, Grindelwald and the Chrome Droid. While we were at NYCC my mother calls me to say she had been charged 6 times by B&N! (I was using her card since my card is Canadian and doesn't work on B&N for some reason) She had to cancel her card! None of the orders went through but the payments did. That was ridiculous! If stores are going to sell exclusives they should be able to handle the web traffic! After we got home that evening my son randomly checked FYE for me and Lyanna Mormont was still available online which I was happy about since her and Jaqen were the only two I really wanted. So overall my son and I were able to get most of the pops we wanted mostly thanks to luck and of course my two cousins shopping for us. It's a shame we have to go through so much trouble to enjoy this hobby of ours. I've been collecting since 2012 and scalpers have really started to sour the experience for me this past year. It's never been like this before. I guess that's the downside to Funko becoming so popular. You guys wouldn't believe the size of the bags people were carrying away from the Funko booth at NYCC! Some people must have bought one of every exclusive. Scalpers for sure. Just disappointing to see. Sucks that the only choice we true fans have sometimes is to pay these scalped prices online.

There are a lot of flippers out there for sure, but when you meet someone like that it just feels good to be apart of this community. As for your question about the new 8-bit line, I really like them. I think it's a new cool idea and a better way to give retro games there true look. The Qbert one for example. I like it, but I think I would like it 10x more in the 8-bit line.
