I love William honestly! He is humble and a great actor too! He is so great that someone can guess that he's Johnny in real life too. If someone told me to have as a chance of choosing Hollywood actors as friends, i would give them all back, as long as i had William as my friend. I mean every time i'd speak to him it would feel as speaking to a legend! The coolest legend of the 80's!

Can't wait for season 2. The theme of Johnny's redemption is one of the biggest reasons to watch this show. If I had to guess, the show will ultimately end with Daniel and Johnny coming together to get rid of a bigger threat (Kreese, Terry Silver possibly). They might combine their styles for a hybrid style and bury their hatchet once and for all.

Cobra Kai is ridiculously awesome! The guys who created this are absolute genius, I am well and truly hooked, cannot get enough of it, counting down the days to S4 already! The fact the original actors are in it is amazing. Thank you to the creator's etc for bringing this into our lives 🔥

I think the nostaligic aspect is what makes this show so good, and the fact that KKII should have been these two guys...maybe 3 was Okinawa.. anyway...

Huge Karate Kid fan. I saw it when I was 10. When I heard cobra Kai was coming out I thought it was going to be stupid, so I didn’t even bother watching it. I stumbled upon it by accident on KZbin, and I was hooked. Absolutely genius how they have practically turn to Johnny and to the protagonist. A much better prequel than Better Call Saul, that’s for sure. A++

In season 2 we'll find out Johnny actually enlisted in the Marine Corps. and was stationed in Okinawa. He was bullied by his fellow NCOs and was given an other-than-honorable discharge due to roundhouse kicking a superior officer. His less than distinguished military career is why he downplays it and why he came on hard times and wasn't able to get a decent job in the civilian world.
