Very appreciative - In hindsight I would have shot this in part 1 & 2, maybe 1, 2, & 3 - then more time could have been spent on viewing each piece of work, longer --------Now I’m going to go back and view it again and pause it when I want to look at something awhile - again, Thank You

Imagine going to view visual art and looking at it through your phone instead, taking pics youre never going to look at again.

I don't know why people like to look at these videos that meander through an art show, with video camera zooming over displayed works. Very few pieces really get a proper viewing. How much better would it be to choose the most interesting art and focus attention on that?

That is called a "curated" video which reflects the style, opinion or expertise of the author. (example: NY Times / The New Yorker / Art in America) These are NYC GALLERY OPENINGS "full coverage", non-curated videos as stated in the intro as "virtual gallery visits" for those who may not be able to attend, and for all exhibitors in the show. This allows the viewer to see everything on view and to make up their own minds about which artworks are worthy of acknowledgment.

That is a noble intention indeed but I think there are far too many artworks to cover -- I must confess that I find this kind of exhibition unappealing. The uniformity of the partitioned spaces shows that it is actually a trade show, with competing galleries displaying artists that they represent. Art is forthrightly presented as the commodity that it has become.

I'm in the cultural wasteland that is SE Asia so must rely on these types of vids and must sadly agree with you. I'd switched over to the Japanese International Art show which looked as though it had far better work than anything now being churned out in the West. However, all the bloody zooming in and out, together with swooping across the works had me tune out halfway through to go throw up! I wish these uploaders would think less of their egos and more about who would be viewing them. I did shut this one off 5 minutes in. Terrible photography and way overlit.
