Just passed my exam here today! for those wondering it was pretty straight forward, around 2-3 left/right turns at stop signs, parallel park and U-turn and a pull over at the end. Also make sure you use the bathroom beforehand, since the only one is pretty far in the park (unless you choose to use the forest as cover). The roads here are pretty much all 2 way roads so make sure you practice and get comfortable sticking to your side of the lane.

Can't thank you enough for this video! I watched it 4-5 times and visited the area to test the water the prior day. I did mine at 10 am and the area was super quiet! Tips: practice both uncontrolled+controlled intersections cause you'll see that a lot. Also an update: the horse riding sign is no longer there anymore so don't mind it. If y'all fail your first test, I advise you to choose this site! It's the best decision ever! Good luck and trust yourself!

She instructed me to pull out, then first turn (R), a few turns (R&L) facing intersections, then parallel parking in a spacious space followed by K turn, then another 2-3 turns, and pull over. In total, it was around 5-6 mins. Hope it helps and best of luck!

I passed my road test today. I was so nervous! I failed to use the signal during the 3-point turn & I parallel parked far from the curb but my instructor was very calm & kind -- she asked me to move a little bit to the curb & do the 3-pt turn. Yes, the street is pretty narrow so you have to be very careful. I finished the test in less than 10 mins. I highly recommend this site for 2nd takers like me -- all the instructors are very nice & the streets are manageable. Good luck to everyone!

Just passed here today! Very easy site, just be wary of narrow two way streets which you'll mostly be on. Use signals, mirrors and look over left shoulder when pulling out. Do the same when parallel parking, 3 point turn and pulling in at the end of the test

Took my test here on the 28th and let me tell you this location was amazing !!! Great lady gave me the test and was so patient with me and you can tell she cared about me passing !! Recommend this spot to anyone !! Very nice area as well and not to many cars.. recommend early morning

@@rubaietislam6950 I don’t really remember but it was one street ahead from where you see the returning testers . It’s a pretty tight street but they understand and let you retry. No worries you should be able to pass it

I passed my first road test in this location! It's super easy. Thank you for the video! The only difference with mine was instead of taking that first left, my instructor had me drive all the way to the end of the street, where it's an automatic left turn at 10mph. Careful with the people on scooters that swerve out of nowhere! Also tailgaters that can't be patient, but the instructors at this location are very patient and cool (I had an older gentleman). If you don't start at the first location in this video, you might start by the big green house at the stop sign. So it varies...

Like everyone else, I was very nervous taking my road test. Since I practiced alot in middle village which has similar narrow two way streets with no yellow markings, it didn't bother me. I would say to make sure you learn to slow down before your turns, Bob your head around and be extra with it lol. There were no traffic lights or any all ways stop signs. Just regular stop signs. I passed with 10 points off on my first try. You got this but practice practice practice. Also signal then check mirrors and blindspot when turning.

I just passed the day before yesterday at this location really simple and short. Pay attention there’s a lot of small two-way streets work on your turns and stay in your lane and you’ll be fine.

Yes I passed! the only things they test you on (and you should try to focus on) are parallel parking and broken U-turn. There is no lane merging on the test or intersection. Theres also a couple of stop signs.

Took it this morning on Jan 27 and passed. Tips: MAKE SURE TO SIGNAL, LOOK AT MIRROR, AND LOOK OVER SHOULDER when pulling out. although the 2-way streets are narrow, stick to your side of the road without being too close to the parked cars. lastly, try to over-exaggerate your head movements because that's what they like to see lol.

@@xueyingwu7048 hey, my route was a little different than the one shown in the video, but still extremely similar. As long as your dad sticks to his side of the road and is careful when coming into a stop sign, he should be good! Best of luck! :)

Rubab Talal For me is one the best site of Queens for road test very quiet and there is not a lot of traffic but you gotta be careful when you turn because almost all the roads are two way very narrow and there is no yellow line in the middle. So be careful

Juan Medina yes i did pass the road test. It is not difficult site atall. Parking spaces are quite open. The only thing you need to keep in mind is most of roads are two way with no yellow line in between.

Its easy but at the same time tricky because the narrow streets. Just so you know folks, you start the test next to the park but you finish by a fire hydrant on the big yellow house in the corner. So you dont cross the intersection with rhe traffic lights. You will remain into the 4 or 6 blocks around residential area the whole time. Speed limit 25mph and my examiner pushed me to go at that speed, just so you know. Parking. K turn and basically everything will be conducted on those narrow streets, last thing, the examiner 484 is here in this location, this lady is pretty famous in Astoria heights road test area, but with me she was fine.

2022 May 19 UPDATE: I finally passed on my 3rd try Failed here last month because of the narrow road... The examiner stopped me twice because I was too close to the parked cars. Also I was asked to pull-over into a pretty tight space so I tried to turn my wheel really quick to get in there and then I hit the curb...

Posting speed limits 25 you should drive below 25 if you drive at or more than the posting speed they will fail you....

New York City speed limit is 25 so you should drive from 20 to 22 . But if you go over the speed limit, they will automatically will fail you.
