Good morning from the other side of the Hudson River, Donald! In today’s video, we have a jacuzzi full of poop 💩 & a cheap, crappy, Glacier Bay toilet that won’t drain. Nice work! Of course, it was the usual suspected culprit: wipes! I’ve had to grind bolts off when changing out toilets or having to pull a toilet from the floor to change the wax ring. That looks like a relatively nice bathroom. The homeowner definitely needs to replace that garbage toilet with either a Mansfield Summit or a glacier Bay power flush. That being said, it was kind of amusing to hear him, scolding the rest of the family for using wipes and telling them to use Scott Tissue and wet it instead. The only things that get flushed down my Mansfield Summit are human waste and toilet paper, which is the way it’s supposed to be. That all being said, I hope you have a great week and a very happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽! Take care!

I will take an American Standard Champion or a Kohler over any Glacier Bay or Toto any day! @@rupe53 especially if removing that toilet involves using an angle grinder! :-) When I do those bolts, I use my Milwaukee multitool as it does not fling a ton of metal dust in the air and I will not damage the porcelain on the toilet, so it is a win-win situation!

Halfway through the video I already know that this customers bill is going to be much higher than “$49.95“! :-) Donald, time for you to invest in some good cordless Milwaukee tools like I have and use! 7:25 That is what happens when stupid people seal up the bottom of the toilet to the floor! Don’t do that folks because you will have a much bigger problem when the floor rots out because you won’t know that the wax seal is leaking until it is too late! I have gone to a customers house where their toilet has actually gone through the floor because the plumber thought it was a good idea to completely seal up the bottom of the toilet! It might even be state code, but what the heck does the state know?… Answer: they don’t care because they’re trying to get money from sales tax for additional materials that you’re going to need to buy to fix that problem! @@mlieser1230 well I hope you are in a warm area because in 2013 I had a customer who had the same attitude that you do but their idiot plumber had also sealed the bottom of the toilet which you’re really are not supposed to do or should not do and the water was going into the concrete and then during the winter time we had such a hard freeze that the water that was going down and into the concrete because concrete is porous (it is like a sponge) people don’t believe it but it is) cracked and broke because it froze! There was a small void around the pipe from the cement and that allowed the water to go all the way down there and then get absorbed by the concrete slab. Of course, I was able to fix it with the proper cement bonding material and hydraulic cement after he had called two other companies, and they told him that he had to get his slab all jackhammered and then completely re-poured. I showed him and the others that was not needed to be done to do the job, right. I also had to replace the water supply line to the toilet, because that also had froze and broke.
