My house was built in 1988 & although this has nothing to do with plumbing, it shows how contractors cut corners. In Georgia it was not required until 1996 for contractors to haul off garbage and or rubbish. Even tho I visited the site weekly & sometimes twice a week, I didn't know about all the crap they buried in my backyard, until the ground started sinking about 3 yrs ago. Our subdivision was fortunate, as the contractors had the good sense not to bury the junk under the house, as some have discovered recently.
