I have participated since the very first 12x12. I am a one and done stitcher. And I wanted to do Wipgo, so I needed projects to put on the board. Being the third time I have learned a few things. Kitting up means two lengths of DMC. I can pull more when needed put everything in a project bag find the center and do the first stitch. Last but most importantly I mark the top so I know the direction of the usually small start. Thank you so much for all you do.

Kea - I didn't quite make it through all 12 projects this year, but I love working my own alteration of this concept. For me, it's a chance to make sure I touch 12 projects that didn't get enough work throughout the year. Thanks for sharing this with the community!

I can’t wait!! I’m up in a mountain cabin celebrating our 40th anniversary!! I brought two WIPs and a new start. That doesn’t add up to 12 but I don’t care and I’m sure no one else does!! It’s about community!!!!! Happy New Year all!

I am participating for the first time this year. I am stitching from stash on the six projects I am starting. Up until 2023 I was a monogamous stitcher. I had back surgery in October, so I will be stretching out my twelve hours over the weekend. Thank you for encouraging my growth!!

Definitely joining in NYE12x12 again. Last time I got all my New Starts ready to roll (floss & fabrics were cut & 3-5 stitches IN if a center start and a 2nd needle was loaded). I was able to get a decent amount done in 1-hour. The other thing is I worked on 6 WIPS & 6 NS, and chose my Higher counts Linens to work on first NS, then evenweaves ... as the night went on my Fabric counts got lower and they were easy to see, a good amount of stitching on each. This is my first 12 x 12 and I am excited to work on 12 Monthly Postcards by From the Heart Needleart by Wendy Petross. I am planning on finishing one per month so I have all 12 of them completed by the end of 2024. Happy Stitching!

Thank you for hosting #nye12x12 again! I still remember when you and your friend's family all got together to stitch the first time and the video from that with the husbands was great! I’m so excited about this! I’ve been planning for months since I first heard about it. I’ve been going through my old books, magazines and stitching calendars from the 90’s. I’ve always had some favorites and I decided this is my time to kit those puppies up!! I also have new stuff too. New Christmas kits🎉. As this is my first NYE alone I’m so happy to have these plans!!!❤ Don’t let this get around but I think I’m more happy about stitching at home then those years I went out on the town!! Lol

I'm going to be on the road for part of the 12x12 this year, but I do hope to join in once I get my car and cats with all their "luggage" unloaded and situated. I'm hoping it will be at least a 6x6 for me! Since I can't plan in advance for it and kit things up, I think I'll just grab WIPs when I get home and be satisfied to be part of "Team WIP" this year.

I plan to start one project and stitch on it New Year’s Eve and Day. It is Winter Sampler by Crocette a gogo. I purchased it when it first came out and I just never started it. Love that you are having guests this year! And love all your chosen projects! Great way to ring out the old and bring in 2024!

So excited for NYE to get here. Did 12x12 last year for the first time. FFO’d 11/12 so far. Gonna up the challenge for me this year. Planning to do 24 new starts for the start of 2024, beginning 12:01 am on NYE and going straight thru to the Peach Drop here in Atlanta at midnight. Coffee will be my best friend.

This is my first time doing 12x12 and I am excited. I chose 12 ornaments so I can actually finish them this year too. I will be dropping into Sandi’s zoom for as long as the family allows.
