Byron Bay and Hollywell, Australia - December 2023

We started our month long dive and drive trip on the east coast of Australia diving at Julian Rocks and Cook Island. The visibility was mostly quite poor, but we did get to see a lot of cool stuff.

To watch this Video brings me in a good mood, because I remember a perfect 8 week "Round The World Tour" in 1992/93. We made a few dives near Rottnest Island(WA) and the Great Barriere Reef. The underwater scenes are interesting and the Pool visibility doesn't matter. I love your Videos!

Love the pineapple fish and the group of multi-barred angelfish, very cool species. Shame about the visibility, but looks like the critters made up for it.

The only negative side of these dive sites is the vis. The fish life is outstanding!

Yeah. The viz was bad most of the time when we were there this time. Lots of life and more appreciated on a good viz day.
