Yeah you should never get your nookie where you get your cookie, especially in a job like The Job. Never works out except for Sipowicz. Even though Sylvia got killed that wasnt on him. He ended up with Connie for fuck's sake, well-deserved after all he had been through. Almost everybody else in the squad had relationship troubles, potentially endangering themselves and the squad as a whole with jealousy and possessiveness issues.

I've been trying to remember the title of the episode during Jimmy Smits' time where Sipowicz and Simone are trying to get a guy to implicate himself in his wife's disappearance or murder and they end up videotaping the guy's statement, while Sipowicz is browbeating him and taunting him, then he just says "Yeah? Balls!" in response to one of the guy's lies. Im trying to track down the name of the actor in the episode because an inlaw said they are related to him. Its not the episode with the Russian mail order bride btw.

@@justanotherdrunk I did an IMDB scroll and looked at headshots of episode stars and found it. It's Season 5, Episode 6 called Dead Man Talking. I was mostly accurate with my description save for the "Balls!"-line but the episode is also rewarding for another appearance by Mark Pellegrino(one of his 3 in the series as far as I know) and a memorable turn by Frank Collison as an unhinged, homicidal janitor. Good gratuitous strip-club footage too with a classic line from Andy.

I hooked up with exactly one woman on a job once and it fucked me all up. Of course I was younger then and didnt realize that I had the green monster dwelling within me. Thank fuck I got that shit learned and outta my system and never fished off of the company dock again after that.
